saturday at ceu

damn! i still don't know my grades. its almost time for summer enrollment but we still don't know our grades. we're all nervous about it but we hoped it will turn out good, the results i mean. anyways, we had this community output to finish before the start of summer enrollment. without it, we wouldn't be able to enroll for the summer.
for our section, we started working on it when our partner section m was done with their output. our president divided the work among each persons who were still here in manila. unfortunately, the leader of the other group didn't even participate with the whole editing process and she doesn't even care. she didn't even text us and asked us if there is anything she can do. anyways, thank goodness we were able to finish the tagalog translations.
today, me and our president went to school to let our community coordinator check the work we had done. she made some editing but we still weren't able to finish because the time didn't permit us to. we were in school for such a long time and we stayed at the faculty room of the college of nursing. it was so cold inside and i had to go out so that i could feel some heat. and it worked but i decided to go back inside because it was so hot. i also read some of the local magazines that were displayed in the faculty room.
we also went to school because we wanted to know our grades. sadly, its still not released so i'm really pissed because i want to know if i pass or fail so that i can prepare myself for what will happen. i don't really want to fail especially now that i've made lots of friends and good memories that i'll cherish forever. damn! i'm so dramatic. anyways, i hope they release our grades soon.

first ever trinoma experience

yesterday, march 24, 2008, i went to school early because the president of our class wanted me to join the meeting so that we could make the necessary revision to our community output. when i arrived at school, i discovered that they had already left the school without warning me. i was really pissed because i didn't know what to do. so, i went to the computer shop to print our homeroom report. i didn't really want to go to school that day because i wasn't in the mood to do so but it was important. so, what i did was that i texted my friend but it turned out that she's doing something too which she cannot leave because it is also about their community output. i waited a long time outside the nal 2 texting those people who are texting me. there were even people having a tour inside the campus for those incoming freshmen students. i look so stupid during the whole time i was standing there.
after an hour of standing there, i decided to go down and sit on the chairs at the side of the gdlsc building. i waited forever because our adviser told me that she'll be arriving at school at 3pm. then, our president texted me and asked me where i was and so, he joined me to wait for our adviser. it was a torture for the both of us. we waited so long and so little to talk about. it was stupid! we saw one of our coordinators and we talked with her for a while. i also saw my friend's crush from the college of optometry. when i texted her that i saw her crush, she called me on my phone through their landline. so, she decided to go to school to accompany me knowing that i didn't have anyone to talk to earlier. i so love her. she's so nice to do that for me.
then, me and our president decided to go outside because our adviser didn't want to see any of the other clinical instructors. so, we endured the long time of waiting for our adviser. when she finally arrived, we were so thankful. damn! it was a long wait. can't you believe that i'd endured all those hours of waiting. i'm not really a patient person and i don't want waiting for someone long enough to make me crazy. after meeting with her, the two of us went our separate ways to do our own business.
i went to 7-11 to meet my friend who went to school just to keep me company. what we did was we bought slurpee to keep us cold for the mean time and i bought ridges (i miss ridges!). we stayed there for quite some time before settling to go to trinoma. before that, we were supposed to meet our new friends from selams but it turned out that they also had their own place to go to. so we went straight towards the lrt station. good thing it was cold inside the train because its really hot outside and you can feel that its summer already. we stopped at cubao station because our next train destination is connected at cubao. we rode the wrong train. we went towards makati when in fact its on the other side. it was a waste of money and time but we enjoyed ourselves with our little adventure.
during the train ride, there were two policemen who rode the train. sadly, i leaned against the one who was nearer me because i wasn't able to get hold of the side rails when i was about to hold on to it. i apologized to the policeman and my friend told me that: "natawa nga siya sayo eh". i asked her if it was true. haha..^^ i'm so embarrassed. it was a long train ride back to north avenue. when we finally arrived to our destination, we were both excited. it was my first time in trinoma because i didn't really had the time to go there because of my busy schedule. oh well, it was a good feeling. we ate first because we were both hungry. we ate at tokyo tokyo and i missed eating there. we ordered pork tonkatsu sumo meal and 8 pcs. california maki.
we enjoyed eating.. haha..^^ we each had two servings of rice because a lot of pork tonkatsu was still on the plate. we especially enjoyed eating the california maki but too bad there isn't wasabi because my friend didn't like wasabi. after eating, we went to different places on the mall and just indulge ourselves with the very cute things we saw at the mall. we also bought ice cream at dairy queen which is also my first time. it was so delicious but "nakakaumay" because it was so sweet and there were lots of nuts and brownies. after that, we went to look for a comfort room but instead my friend saw the banana peel store which made me stop to buy a pair of slippers. i didn't really want to buy but since i got addicted somehow to it, i didn't stop myself from doing so. damn! where's my money?
after with the comfort room, we decided to go home. because its almost late. the mrt station was so scary because it was so fast as if you can feel that it can almost hit you. anyways, it was a fun experience for me. yeah!

pinoy big brother teen edition plus

oh my gosh! pinoy big brother is yet again up for another season. last week, they showed the viewers as to who got the chance to be a housemate. as for me, i was really curious as to who they are just like every season that has passed. i think that is why i'm excited about the teen edition is because i'm still a teenager that is why i can still relate. and for tonight's episode they finally revealed who those housemates are.
kaya pala nila tinawag na plus is because they have two housemates that are studying in two of the longest running school rivalry in the philippines, ateneo and la salle. can you imagine that? they are treated so special just because of their school? anyways, i remembered the first pba ateneo-la salle game that happened earlier in the afternoon which i didn't had the chance to finish because we had to go to church to hear the mass.. happy easter sunday! anyways, yun na nga, kaya siya naging plus. another thing is, maybe they would still add other housemates that's why there are other extra rooms in the house. they haven't let the two boys from ateneo and la salle to enter the house to make it as a surprise to the other hosuemates...maybe?! i don't know its just my prediction.
for me, there were those who stand out. first, kevin from spain and alex from italy. haha :)) it was so funny because when kevin entered the house and the first one inside was ejay. i really thought it would be awkward for the two of them because kevin doesn't know how to speak tagalog and ejay speaks little english. sabi ko nga eh "nosebleed" para kay ejay. and of course, the two plus. josef from la salle and robi from ateneo. they're both part of their pep squad. i am biased because i am la salle all the way..yeah! most of my friends know it. for the girls, i really like valerie from germany. she's so pretty and tall. she's sexier than the one's they call "bikini babe". also, the deaf girl priscilla. it would be a really big challenge for her inside the house. anyways, she's good in lip reading. i also like nicole, she's pretty and doesn't look like a seventeen year old.
anyways, that's my bet. i don't know whose yours, but i'll definitely have to watch this season because i have summer class if... i get to pass my sophomore year.. good night!

mandy moore movies marathon

yesterday, i've watched 4 of mandy moore films since there's nothing better to do when you have summer vacation. those films are: license to wed, how to deal, because i said so and dedication.

license to wed: well, i like this movie out of the 4. it has humor to it and the three main actors are really good. i guess everyone have their own happy endings too. rating: 9/10

how to deal: i think this movie has some seriousness to it. but i think the main point in this movie is your family bond, friendship and love. i rate this movie 7/10.

because i said so: somehow this movie made me laugh harder than any of the 3 especially when the balloon got stuck on mandy moore's butt. i really like the guy mandy's character chose. but i'm just wondering, if mandy's mom and johnny's dad got married, does that doesn't make mandy and johnny brother and sister?! hmm... anyways, i just love the guy who played johnny. rating: 8/10

dedication: i didn't really quite get this movie. all i know is that they're making a book and henry is an obsessive-compulsive person who fell in love with lucy. anyways, i think it made sense to some people. rating: 6/10

last day

march 18, 2008 was the last day of the 2nd semester for school year 2007-2008. i wonder if i'm going to be promoted for our summer class. my biggest worry is if i'll be able to pass my sts and physics subject. i think for now, i am assured that i will pass physics because according to my other classmates, our professor doesn't fail students in physics. up until now, i am not assured. unless someone informs me that i passed and i'll be really really happy. i don't want to change my course, i am happy with the college of nursing and i am happy with the school i am enrolled in. i also don't want to fail because all my time, energy, effort and money will be wasted. i don't know what to do if i fail.
anyways, this day is memorable because a lot of things happened; especially during the exams. we are really grateful because all the advisers we had were really nice people. though they know that cheating is widespread inside the classroom, they're not doing anything that will harm all the students. i mean, they get angry but afterwards, its like nothing happened. the final examination was really nerve-racking for all of us because it is where our future depends; if we pass or fail. many of us in our section are really worried because most of us have to meet the cut-off of grades to pass that certain subject especially in micro-para and sts.
after the exams, we took the opportunity to make as many pictures as possible to relieve all the beautiful memories. i love taking pictures! after staying at school for quite some time, some of us went to our classmate teddy's house to enjoy the moment of spending our last day as sophomore students. there, we ate and drink a lot of coke.. haha..^^ just kidding. while at their house, we were all having fun, chatting with each other and taking pictures to capture the moment. my mm called me on my phone because i'm not home yet. so, when everybody knew about it, we stop and finished the remaining time we had. anyways, i think we all enjoyed ourselves.
school year 2007-2008 is now signing off! congratulations to all the sophomore students.. hope we all pass!!!

i miss blogging

grabe! i super miss posting in my blog. pano ba naman kasi?! super busy ng lola niyo for these past few days dahil finals na. malamang mas uunahin ko yung studies ko kesa sa pag-iinternet. anyways, ano nga ba ang mga dahilan at busy ako? syempre, may practice kami para sa aming chorale presentation sa english. may grand ret dem continuation pa kami para matapos na lahat ng back-log sa section namin. busy din kami para sa oral revalida namin. o diba?! napakadami talaga namin ginawa. minsan nga ginagabi pa ako umuwi dahil sa aming endless practice.
nagsimula ang lahat sa debut ni dana noong march 8 na birthday din ng mga ate ko. ayun, maaga kami pinauwi ni ma'am yee nung saturday. after ng quiz uwian na namin. nakisit0in pa si paula sa history at physics lab tas si pedro sa physics lab. naku, ayt may rally pa nung mga panahon na yon. anyways, ayun nga, as what i've said, debut ni dana nung araw na yun. syempre, dumayo pa kami ng bulacan. masaya naman yung debut ni dana. syempre dahil nakita ko ulit ang bandang publico. kaso nga lang kulang talga ako sa tulog non eh. after pa namin kayna dana, diretso naman kami kayna nheng kasi may practice kami para sa english. hindi pa masyado maayos practice namin nung una kasi pago nga lahat lalo na ako..haha!!:)
the next day, may practice na naman kami kayna teddy. mga 9:30 pm na ako nakauwi non eh.. o diba?! mabuting gawin ng isang mag-aaral. kinabukasan pa non may assignment at quiz kami sa micro. nung tuesday naman, prinesent na namin yung chorale presentation namin. grabe, celebration agad after eh. 1.75 yung grade ng group namin. wednesday naman, may oral revalida kami with ma'am gil. kala naman namin sobrang hirap non pero di naman pala. pumasok pa nga si dean dun sa room at akala pa namin magtatagal siya buti na lang hindi. katabi lang ako ni ma'am gil nung mga panahon na yon para ayusin yung output namin pag may mga corrections siya.
thrusday naman, may make-up class kami sa health eco para masabi samin kung ano yung mga kelangan namin pag-aralan para sa finals.
march 14, 17-18, 2008. final exam! tapos na ang unang araw. ang masasabi ko lang.. f*ck yung physics lab! ang hirap niya sobra. medyo nakatulugan ko na nga siya nung nagsasagot ako eh. ok naman yung ibang exam pero kelangan ko talaga pumasa ng sts. ayun lang. lahat na yun ng nangyari sakin. buti na lang wala kami pasok bukas..^^
