another visit to serendra

later this afternoon we went to serendra at th the fort bonifacio global city in taguig. we went there to buy a cake for the new year. by the time we got there, there were already lots people crowding and taking pictures. we first went to conti's to order a cake so that we can save some for us. after the reservation, we went to fully booked. still, it was up to the fourth floor , full of books. it was nice going around there. i indulged myself with an iced caramel macchiato at starbucks.
it was so cold in there but still i enjoyed myself. after finishing my macchiato, i went upstairs and listened to some cds. i listened to natalie imbruglia's glorious greatest hit singles. her songs were really good. after some time at fully booked, we went back to claim our cake. all sorts of races were in there. there were loads of people with their family. after we got our cake, we decided to go home. it wasn't really that tiring. i enjoyed myself.

sun life financial christmas party

last december 29, 2007, sun life financial had their year end celebration at silver city, pasig, near tiendesitas and sm hypermarket. we were picked up at our house by tito nelson, ninang emma's brother. after that, we went to cainta greenland to pick up tito nelson's niece and nephew who is also going to the celebration. it wasn't that long of a travel to tiendesitas since there was no traffic at all. when we got there, we picked up madet, well my sisters were the ones who picked her up at the food village in tiendesitas.
afterwards, tito nelson parked the car. me and my sisters together with madet went inside the silver city. damn! when we went inside, there were so many people. all are sun life agents and their family. i felt very dizzy and nauseated because of the crowded people inside. we first registered, after we registered, we went outside and went to tiendesitas to go sight seeing for clothes and other things. we bought ice cream there, damn! the small sugar cone was worth 20 pesos. i was like shocked because it only cost 10 pesos when you buy it from other places. ang mahal grabe!
we finally decided to go back to silver city. we joined in the line so that we could get some foods. all lines were pretty much long. we also saw jemal vizcarra, a former ust growling tiger. his mom works for sun life as well. after enduring the long lines, we were able to eat. after eating, we went to sm hypermarket. we went there to buy a cold mineral water. unfortunately, temptation occurred and we bought other things besides mineral water. since its the holiday season, we decided to give ourselves gift for the holidays. after buying what we wanted to buy and feeling fresh because of the air-con, we decided to go back yet again to silver city.
finally, it was dinner time. we thought we didn't have seats but thankfully, some of mom's friends saved us some seats. by the time we got there, the people were already pack in lines to get food from the buffet table. we waited for our turn to get some food. finally, it was time for us to get some food. the food didn't taste that great. while we waited for the original owner of the seats that we saved, we did nothing but watch what was happening inside. finally, the ones we have been waiting for arrived.
we left silver city and settled at tiendesitas. we explored the whole place, saw some nice things and well, just looked at some stuffs. it was tiring to go around that place. when it was almost time for us to go home we stayed outside sm hypermarket while we wait for the person who would take us home. after a very tiring day, we finally got home. that's all for the occasion.

shopping galore

today, me and my sister went to sta. lucia and robinsons metro east to go shopping for anything we would like. well, i finished first the chores that we had to finish. man! my back hurts from laundrying all the clothes we have worn. it was so tiring for there was too many of it. it was so tiring doing household chores but we still have to because our mom gets angry at us for not doing anything productive at home. anyways, after finishing the chores after lunch, i went back to our room to continue reading the latest book my sisters bought. i did it so that i could rest for just a while before going out of the house.
after i was contented with what i've read, i took a bath. it didn't took me long to take a bath. of course, after everything was done, we left heading off to the mall. when we got there, there are still loads of people due to the holidays. though, it was nice for me to be back again in a mall. it's been a while since i've been to the mall and since i've had money. of course, it's only during the christmas season where i could have money. and if you have money, you have to spend some of it and keep some for future use. it was really overwhelming for me since i wanted to buy a lot of things.
we were in the mall for quite a good deal. we've been there for some time and me and my sister did buy a lot. it feels so good and felt nice to have new things for yourself. i'm glad i have money. it doesn't come that much often to me. i spend a lot of money just for school work that's why i don't get o save some for my own. after we were contented with what we bought, we decided to call it a day in the mall. we went home feeling good about the things we've bought. happy holidays everyone... :)

later this afternoon, we went to fort bonifacio global city because it is where we are supposed to buy the cake for this christmas. we got there by car because it is far from where we live. we went to serendra first. from there, my sisters wanted to go inside fully booked so we did go in there. we spent quite some time there. i saw a lot of good-looking boys..haha :) anyways, it's a haven of books for i think it's up to the 4th floor and all of it are books. there is also a starbucks there.
after fully booked, we went to the other side where mostly all restaurants are there. we went to the store where we're supposed to buy th cakes but unfortunately, the cake that we wanted to buy is out of stock. anyways, we went to this store, chelsea, where we bought bread. there were a lot of foreigners in there so it's kinda like united colors..hehe :)
after buying what we wanted to buy, we went to red ribbon at eastwood to buy a cake. there were so many people buying cake for the holidays. after buying the cake, we went to sta. lucia to buy out cousin the crema de fruita he was requesting for. unfortunately, again, they don't have a stock. then, we went home. my mom and sister picked up the lechon at the airport from cebu. while waiting for them before we went to the church, i fell asleep because i was really asleep.
then, finally they arrived. we first ate dinner then went directly to the church. as always, the church is jam-packed with people. it was so great to attend the mass though it's been a while since i've attended the mass. after the mass had finished, we walked from the church to our house. it's quite an exercise. my sisters cooked the food to be eaten. while waiting for the food, me and my sister, watched the chronicles of narnia the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. when finally, it's almost time, we ate the food. its so nice to eat..

prelim exams

before the prelim exams, all group leaders and other group members met up at jollibee mendiola. it was a sunday, december 16, 2007. it was our only free time for us to do the community output. our first meeting place was jollibee mediola then, we went to teddy's house. it wasn't that far from mendiola but we had to take 3 jeepneys to get there. when we got there, we ate lunch first because we were all hungry. nakakainis!, galit si jowell sa akin kaya hindi niya ako iniimik. ewan ko ba kung ano ang naging dahilan pero feeling ko yun ay dahil don sa zen ni dana. ang immature pero sa tingin ko, yun ang dahilan.
going back to the story, we ate lunch, a fun lunch because all the boys were being silly. it was fun having them around. after eating lunch, we went straight to the business. all of us were so busy but the boys still maintained to be so silly. all of us were tallying by group, doing spot mop, and tallying by class. we finished at about 6pm in the morning but there are still a lot of work to do. when i got home, i still did the output but i took a break by reading the books and notes for our exam the next day.
december 17-20, 2007. prelim exams. dentsci 406.
december 17. i wasn't able to study that much because of the super haggard output. good thing i was able to read some of the chapters that was required for us to study. fortunately, i was able to answer most of the questions in the exam. he unit exam for micro-para was kinda hard.
december 18. most hated day of the exam! damn that physics! the exam was so hard. it was a 100-item exam. for about 30 minutes, i was just staring at my paper for i didn't know what to do. even the simplest equations, i don't know how to compute for it because it was really hard. the exam is good for 1 hour. during that 30 minutes i was staring at my paper, i was still at #20. i wasn't even halfway through the exam. grrr!!!!
december 19. the exam for sts was kinda hard. as well as the exam for micro-para lec. but still, i managed to answer most of the questions in the exam.
december 20. last day of exams. last day of school for the holiday vacation. we only had 2 exams left that day. they were quite easy but for computer, i find it a little difficult because we didn't have study materials. yey! finally, we were finished.

1st community immersion for the 2nd semester

last december 12-13, 2007, we had our first community immersion for the second semester. our section was the last batch to have the community immersion for the prelims. our community was in barangay tumaway, talisay, batangas. i wasn't really feeling our immersion during that time because, i guess, i have new classmates. anyways, when i got home on a tuesday night, i prepared all the things that i needed to bring with me. there were a lot to prepare but i finish in like an hour.
after i was satisfied with what i've done so far with the preparations, i decided to go online and log on to my ym. anyways, after i've done that, i immediately went to sleep for i didn't want to be late. good thing i woke up early. i just pre-heated the rice and i ate breakfast because it is really needed for we have a long travel to batangas. i asked my dad to drop me off at lrt santolan station for my things was really heavy for me to ride the jeepney. good thing the car have gasoline.
i arrived at lrt santolan at 5:30 am..hehe^^ i was really early. gosh! my classmates were almost kinda late. i've waited for them for like 30 minutes. finally, one of them arrived. i saw many escolarians passed by me in at the lrt. we waited for one of our classmate but we decided to leave her because we didn't want to be late. i thought she brought her cellphone but she didn't. well, we decided to leave her. when we arrived at jollibee mendiola, few of our classmates already left and went to park and ride. so, we hailed a cab and we went to park and ride. good thing that we weren't late because i was really worried that they were gonna leave without us.
we boarded the bus. we were so tagal at the park and ride because we were waiting for the late ones and the other supposed to be C.I. who's gonna go with us. when finally, we decided to leave manila for batangas. as usual, i was again dizzy with the travel. i didn't really understand the movie that was shown in the bus. i didn't brought with me our camera because my sister used it to their retreat. anyways, i just borrowed my classmate's camera to take some pictures. i really love taking pictures so that i would be able to have memories.
we arrived at sto. tomas market a little late because of the quite long delay at park and ride. of course, we have to buy our food provisions there like meat, vegetables and other ingredients for our menu..hehe :). after 30 minutes, we went back to bus ready to go to talisay, batangas. in just 45 minutes, we arrived at brgy. tumaway, talisay, batangas. the clinical instructors and each leaders of the group dropped by the municipal hall to meer some important people in the area. after having the talk with the nurse, we went back to the barangay. one by one, we went down the bus and went to the barangay hall. it was so hot and there wasn't much shelter for all of us to be accommodated.
the clinical instructors got the name of the members of each group to be disseminated among different foster family. it took a while for them to finish and coordinate with the barangay health workers. after they have finished the list, we went to the place where we are supposed to stay. while on the way, i didn't know what i was so busy with, the next thing i know was that i fell down the man whole. there were few missing railing among the man hole, after that, my classmates thought that i was gonna cry but i didn't. i laughed after what happened to me so instead of my classmates symphatizing me, they also laughed at my clumsiness. it was a really hard fall. my legs were kinda hurt but good thing i didn't have scratches.
when we finally arrived at our place to stay, we met our foster parents who warmly accepted us into their home. we stayed at the room that were assigned to us. we fixed our things, changed our clothes and freshened a little before eating our lunch. i discovered that the glass in my watch broke, as in it was torn into pieces. i also had some pasa, a really big one in the lower part of my legs and then small ones my left leg. i also have little scratches but just a tiny bit. after we were done freshening ourselves, our foster parents cooked us our lucnh. she was so kind for she didn't let us cook lunch. after eating our lunch, she didn't also let us wash the dishes. after that, we went back to our room to accomplish the learning feedback diary.
when it's almost 2:30 pm, we went back to the barangay hall to our meeting. when all was complete, our C.I.'s oriented us with what we're supposed to do with the survey interview. after being oriented, our C.I's accompanied some of the students to their families to be interviewed. our group, with sir tagala, went inside the forest..hehe :) just kidding. we had a long journey but the sad thing is that only two students had the chance to interview the families there. we were then brought to the applaya which was really muddy. omg! my feet as well as my shoes got wet.
we finally arrived at a house where it hasn't been interviewed. i started my interview but at the middle of it, sir tagala did all the interviewing.
after i finished, sir tagala bought me and melgrace merienda, palitao. he was really generous about it.. haha :) thank you sir! after i finished, we went to the other house just opposite to the house i've interviewed. next, melgrace was the interviewer. i was just there, sitting and interviewing the liitle girl. i also took out the glass in my watch. when its almost 5:30 pm, we went back to the barangay hall. sir tagala left us so we went back by ourselves. after meeting with the clinical instructors, each student headed back to their respective foster family. after a few minutes of rest, i was the first to take a bath. it was so refreshing to take a bath.
afterwards, it was time for us to eat our dinner. in our meal, nanay always cooks for us fish. anyways, we're always full after we eat. we got back to our room to accomplish our lfd. anya, was interviewing our family for she didn't have a single family to interview. their family was really nice to us. it was such a tiring night but we still pursued on doing our lfd. we were also texting some of our classmates who brought their cellphones illegally. we were supposed to go to where the boys were having fun but we ended up going to the wrong house. at the house we're staying, we watched all the primetime programs in abs-cbn and gma.
i wasn't really myslef when someo\body asked me if we were okay in our house. surprisingly, it was our C.I.'s who were roaming. i thought they were somebody else because they look like the locals in the barangay. we slept at about 11 pm. before we finally get to sleep, we were still chatting with each other, reminiscing the first semester. the things that had happened, the unforgettable professors, the subjects and the bonding we've made. i really miss my classmates during the first semester.
day 2. december 13, 2007. our call time was 7pm. we woke up at 6am. we didn't took a bath because we knew that it will be a hard day ahead of us. we ate our breakfast, fixed ourselves and fixed our things to bring for the continuation of our interview. after eating our breakfast, we once agin head back to the barangay hall. there were so many who was asked to make an incident report. after all the necesary arte, we proceeded with the quiz. it wasn't really that hard so we finished early. after taking the quiz, each student had to find another family to interview. me and melgrace went back to the applaya. unfortunately, the family that we're supposed to interview wasn't there.
i'm really pissed off with people who are so "makulit". melgrace was kinda like that during the whole time in our stay in the community. she ocupied most f the space in the bed. ang likot niya matulog. kapag ganon pa naman yung katabi ko sa kama naiinis ako. tapos dun sa pagbalik namin sa may highway, sorry siya ng sorry tapos lagi pa niya akong tinatanong kung galit ako. mas lalo akong naiinis pag paulit-ulit yung pagtatanong. okay na, tama na yung isa pero pag paulit-ulit lalong nakakainis. madali pa naman ako mainis kapag ganon yung taong kasama mo. pero syempre wala na yun sa akin ngayon. after that, when all hope is gone, we decided to go back to our house. when i already kept all the necessary things for the interview, nanay told us to go with the other group to find other families to interview in latag.
we rode the owner jeep of one of the foster parent of our classmate. finally, we found some families who haven't been interviewed by ceu students. after all had finished interviewing, one bhw led us back to where we are staying. we went through inside the forest, literally inside the forest. it was supposed to be a short cut. good thing that the forest was safe to go through.
we arrived back to a familiar scene. after finishing all the requirements to be passes inside the bus, i, again, was the first one to take a bath. then, finally, my buddies were next. we were in such a rush because we thought that we're going to be late. we then ate our breakfast. after a few moments in the house, we bid goodbye our foster family. we then went to the barangay hall, suddenly, one of our classmate told us that the bus was parked at the gasoline station. what we did was we went there and we boarded the bus. when all were complete, sir tagala asked who victor and melgrace is. we were all wondering why he asked that and then he told us that someone told him that they brought with them their cellphone. they were asked to do an incident report.
after all that commotion, we left brgy. tumaway, talisay, batangas. some were still finishing the requirements to be passes. others were wondering who the traitor was. anyways, at the stop over, many went down to buy some foods. those who were left in the bus were still wondering who the traitor was. whoever he/she is, she's just wanting attention. then, off we go to manila. those who brought with them their cellphones went down to different places. those who stayed didn't bring any cellphone. at the park and ride, everybody was so nervous, even i was nervous. the clinical instructors searched each bag but then they didn't find any phones with those who stayed. after all those, we all went home to have a good rest.
i know it's a bit late but i still have to post this. i've been so busy after our community immersion, so, this is my time to use the internet as much as i want because it's the holidays.. happy holidays everyone!!!:)

blessing of a new house

yesterday, we went to novaliches for the blessing of the new house of one of our family friend. it was a long way from our home but we got to the venue with our car eventhough we're a bit crowded in the back. when we got there, there were only few people and i guess were early. the scenery of the other houses were very beautiful. the houses we see at casa milan were beautifully constructed. the house that we got into was also nice. it was very big, i mean really big.
me and my sisters took a tour in both houses so we could just explore. in the terrace, we took pictures just to do something. we look at scenery for we didn't have anything to do. by the time we got downstairs, the ceremony is set to start. we didn't join with the whole crowd, we just stayed downstairs. by the time they got to the other house, they threw money and suddenly i felt something pierced my foot and surprisingly it was a coin that they threw. after that, we went outside to reserve ourselves a seat.
after an hour, we finally started eating. we took a lot of food in our plates so that we didn't have to go back to the buffet table. all the food that i ate are really delicious. especially the lasagna. yummy!:) anyways, i had a lot to eat so my tummy was full and felt i didn't want to eat food anymore..haha :) me and my sisters took a walk but we went back to our seats afterwards. we went home at about 12 midnight and it was boring. anyways, that's all about it.

alay lakad...second edition

what a day?! maaga naman kami pinauwi pero mga 6pm na kami nakarating sa lrt santolan. pag tingin ko pa lang dun sa baba, super daming tao na naghihintay ng masasakyan. nung pagbaba namin sa lrt, i suggested na lakarin namin hanggang dun sa bridge ng marikina river, both of my companions agreed. e di lakad naman kami. sa kadiliman, may nakita akong babae na alam kong kilala ko yun pala si angel. e di un, sabi niya sa amin isang oras na daw siya naghihintay dun ng masasakyan. as in super dami talaga ng tao. kahit nga dun sa mga fx terminal wala ding masakyan eh. super dami talaga ng tao.
ayun nga, i suggested ulet na dun kami maghintay ng masasakyan sa bridge ng marikina pero ayaw nila. bumalik kami and we decided to walk hanggang sa robinson's metro east. eto na naman po ako, second time ko nang mag-alay lakad dahil sa walang masakyan na kahit anong jeep at fx. e di yun nga, apat kaming magkakasama. then, i saw my friend gerald, ayun, kami yung sabay maglakad. kwentuhan effect kami pero masaya naman (bianca, wag ka magagalit :) peace!) ayun, puro sa nursing yung pinag-usapan namin kasi pareho kaming nursing. grabe talaga as in super napakahaba ng nilakad namin. parang forever na yun.. hehe :) joke lang.
finally, we arrived at robinson's metro east. nagpaalam na kami kay gerald dahil kami'y papasok ng robinson's at si angel naman ay nagpaalam na din dahil siya'y susunduin ng kanyang ama. e di tatlo na lang kami natira, ako, si claire at si jecca. nag-cr muna kami tapos after ng cr pumunta kami ng kfc para kumain. as in kaming tatlo super pagod at super gutom. inenjoy muna namin ang pag-stay namin sa kfc para kahit papano makapgpahinga kami. after we ate at kfc, bumili kami ng ice cream kasi i'm craving for sweets (fyi: hindi ako buntis..hehe^^). ayun, eventually after namin kumain umalis na kami sa mall.
sayang yung jeep na nasakyan namin na binangonan kasi ang pogi nung kuya na katabi ko pero bumaba din kami dahil hindi feel ni claire yung mga manong na kasakay namin sa jeep dahil hindi sila mukhang katiwa-tiwala. ayun, eto at nakuwi na't lahat hindi pa rin ako nagpapalit ng uniform. hehe :)
hindi ko makakalimutan ang eksena sa aming sts subject kanina. gago talaga yung classmate ko kanina. muntik na niyang suntukin yung professor namin dahil sa sobrang bad trip niya. syempre ayoko naman na dahil lang dun e pati sa iba magalit na yung prof namin at maging kaaway pa namin yung prof na yun. grabe talaga! lahat ng tao sa room namin tensyonado kasi hindi namin alam yung gagawin namin. as in yung pinipigilan na namin siya pero wala pa rin kaming nagawa kasi super parang papatay na siya ng tao. anyways, nauwi naman sa mabuting pakiusapan yung nangyari kanina. health care.. ayun, may reporting kami at buti na lang maganda yung kinalabasan. hindi na ako nagsalita kasi ako na gumawa lahat ng visual aids at research. health economics.. nagpasulat ng napakahaba si ma'am at nagsulat din ako dahil duty ko daw yun as a secretary. nakakapago magsulat at nakakangalay.
ayun lang naman sa ngayon. first time ko yata magsulat ng blog na napakahaba at tagalog pa. sa mga makakabasa, sana maintindihan niyo.. hehe :) good night everyone :) godbless..

what a day!?

well, it's again a weekday so there are classes once again. damn! i still have the stains from our last experiment last monday. we did this experiment in the microbiology lab called acid fast staining. i was the one who did it and the end result is that i still have the stains on both my hands. the reagent that stained my hands is called carbolfuchsin. its supposed to be color red and with a mix of gold color but when it stays in your hands, its color is somewhat like fuchsia pink. my classmates are teasing me about it but i'm fine with it. its not such a big deal but i don't really like to see the stains anymore. it makes my hands look really ugly when they're really not. i hate it!
anyways, i'm so happy for the past few days because i saw my crush from the 4th year level also from the college of nursing. i saw him outside our classroom for our physics lecture subject. i knew i know that back and when he turned, it was him. me and my other classmates who has a crush on him was giggling. all three of us can't stop giggling.. :) f.y.i. ii had a really embarrassing day yesterday because i said a bad word inside our classroom when in fact there was still a professor inside the room. i only realized it after i've finished saying the word. i immediately went outside the room because i didn't want her to punish me.. i didn't immediately went inside the room because i waited for the professor to leave the room.
moving on.. i don't have classes today and on thursday so i am so lucky because i can finally have a break from all the studying. take care everyone..

sts tour

last november 29, 2007, we had our sts tour at capitol medical center in quezon city. groups Q2 and Q3 first went to the gdlsc nal 3rd for the film viewing. i arrived at school at about 6:40 am. then, i stayed at the friendship area because i didn't see any of my classmates. anyways, when i saw some of my classmates going up at the gdlsc nal 3rd, i did the same thing. i bought 2 pieces of voice because i was really hungry. afterwards, i went upstairs.
while outside the nal, we waited for the clinical instructors to arrive. finally, ma'am lacopia arrived and she opened the nal 3rd. then, she gave us the necessary evaluation forms needed in the sts tour. after which, we proceeded with the agenda. she showed us some slides of pictures that our dean made then after that we watched a video on how to accurately get the blood pressure of a person. i wasn't that interested with the film because there was no sound so what most of us did was chat with each other.
after the film viewing, we were asked to go eat our lunch for after that we will proceed to the capitol medical center. when we were done eating, we went to jollibee for it is where we are supposed to meet. when ma'am lacopia arrived at jollibee, we immediately went to ride a jeepney for she was such in a hurry. anyways, we went our separate ways and i'm glad that me and my groupmates went together. when we arrived at cmc, we went to the back because it is where those who have duties will have to proceed. there were ceu students from the college of nursing who were having their duty. they were the senior students wearing their white gala uniform. we were all looking at them for we are also aspiring to wear all white in the right time. we are all hoping to reach the 4th year.
anyways, our clinical instructors ate their lunch first and we waited for them to come back until we started the actual tour. when they have finally arrived, we started our adventure. we went to the different stations in the hospital to be oriented with the different machines and what they do in their department. it was really tiring but at the same time fun because i've learned a lot. after our tour, we all decided to go home and call it a day. we didn't even know what was happening outside and we only discovered that there has been a coup d'etat. we just saw it on the television in the ob-gyn department.
anyways, it was a tiring day and i wish to have our hospital duty.. :) that's all for now..

a busy week and an earthquake

oh well! what a busy week. thank goodness it's not yet that hard except for the part where we have to make a nursing care plan. its also been a while since i've used the internet. i miss my daily blogging whenever some special events happen. i just bought miguel escueta's debut album i am m.e.. i am so happy because i've been wanting to buy his album ever since he went to our school during the nurses' day celebration. thanks to my sister who gave me the money :)
damn! today, while we were having our quiz on physics, there was a tremor that was felt in all parts of the philippines (i think). it was really weird because i wasn't even moving at all. i stopped moving but i was still shaking then i thought that there was a ghost playing with me. and lastly, i thought my seatmate was kicking my chair but she wasn't. then, the reality is, there was an earthquake. it wasn't my first time to feel an earthquake. i was really scared and shocked but after that i calmed down a little.
it was really scary, everyone at school was talking about it and everyone wanted suspension of classes but it didn't happen. oh well! anyways, in our english class, our professor told us stories about the cause of the earthquake that happened earlier. we also presented our commercial. our group's presentation was okay. all the commercials were fun to watch. we have no classes tomorrow.. :) thanks to rle day off. can't wait for our hospital duty but i'm nervous about the case presentation. that's all for now.

today, we went at people's health center in mandaluyong city for our health center duty. as a leader, i did my job. i texted them to remind them about the things they should bring and the likes. our meeting place is at jollibee mendiola, 6:15. i woke up early and left early because i didn't want to be late. i arrived at jollibee mendiola 6:30. the other members of my group were already there. i did the necessary things like photocopying the PA tool and review of systems. two of my group members were really late and i was kinda pissed off because i thought we're going to be late.
finally, we are completed. we rode the jeepney to kalentong and from there we rode another jeepney to hulo elementary school. it was a long ride and tiring, i got a little dizzy from the ride. when we arrived at the elementary school, we walked a little going to the health center. all the directions were given to me by our clinical instructor. thank you sir! :) when we arrived at the health center, our instructor hasn't arrived yet so we were asked to sit down and wait for him. we talked with each other and had fun.
then, he finally arrived. we were sort of anxious but then i was glad he already arrived for we have been waiting. when our instructor arrived, he sort of like chatted with us first before proceeding with the lecture. it was a short lecture on how to do a nursing care plan. after the lecture, we ate our breakfast at a nearby canteen. free watching in the television..hehe :) when our food was cooked, it was time for us to eat. i was beside our instructor and to my right were my other groupmates. it was a crowded place inside because there were other schools who decided to eat there as well.
we had fun talking with each other while eating. the food was so delicious and i really loved their tapsilog. thank you sir for bringing us there. when i was done eating, i was surprised when our instructor pat me hard on my back. i was really shocked but we just turned it into a joke. after we ate, we went back to the health center to get our things. then, sir instructed us to go and find patients whom we can interview. then, the search began. we were able to find patients to interview and they were such nice people. though they were sort of busy they still let us interview them. after the interview, me, jecca, myles and nheng chatted for a while. it was nice talking with them for you get to know something about them.
when it was time for us to go back, we went back to the health center and our instructor was already waiting for us. i gave him the attendance logbook and attendance logbook. after he was done writing, we decided to go. we thanked the staff of the health center and off we go. we rode again a jeepney going back to kalentong and from there we were divided into 2 groups. our group went to boni station and the others with our instructor rode a jeepney going back to legarda. it was a long ride from boni avenue.
it brings back memories because it is where we first had our health center exposure during the first semester. we rode the mrt station 3 going to cubao. we had our stop over at gateway because i bought powder at watsons. after which we decided to go home. when i got home, i went to sleep right away after i had changed my clothes. it was a tiring day though we didn't do much but the travel was very tiring. that's all for now.

nurses' day @ ceu with miguel escueta and callalily

november 17, 2007, an unforgettable day. 32nd nurses' day celebration of the college of nursing at centro escolar university mendiola, manila. the nurses' day celebration was supported by 103.5 Max FM. the dj's present were carl mcfly and peter clay.
i went to school early because all class officers were requested to attend the mass and the opening ceremonies for the nurses' day celebration. i was disappointed because i thought it was going to start early but it didn't. i felt like a princess during the morning because the tentative officers in our class is composed mainly of males. anyways, finally, all the officers were asked to go inside the librada avelino auditorium. well of course, it's a solemn celebration because of the mass. there were quite some noise going on inside but the students still maintained their composure not to make a lot of noise. well, i think i'm kinda like one of the boys during that day because i am around boys. anyways, the guy who sang the responsorial psalm was cute and has a really good voice but i didn't pay much attention to him.
after the mass, there was a short program and a talk. most of the students go out of the auditorium and waited until the program finished. after the program, i went to the friendship area because i was supposed to meet with my classmate dana and we were supposed to go to ust. when dana got to school, we waited for quite some time then us and our other classmates during the first semester went to jollibee to eat lunch. after eating our lunch, i asked dana to accompany me to expression because i'm going to buy a ballpen. after buying a ballpen, we decided to go to gateway because dana is craving for a starbucks coffee and besides, it's really hot outside.
when at gateway, we went straight to starbucks and dana ordered her favorite coffee of which i forgot what it is. while there, we're chatting about things, stuff that happens everyday and the kind of life that we have.. hehe :) we didn't know where to go next so i decided to just go home to my house because it's just a ride away from gateway. it was so hot outside but good thing there wasn't much traffic. when we got to my house, i left some of my things behind and i changed my clothes. my mom sorta got angry with me but i didn't mind it. after i did what i had to do, me and dana left my house. it was a little traffic in the highway and at the same time so hot that is why i'm so pissed.
when we got to the lrt station, we waited for jecca but she's still a long way from the lrt when dana called her so we decided to go ahead. it wasn't a long ride from santolan station to legarda station. it was so hot that day, we don't have umbrella while walking at the streets of manila. when we got to school, we waited for our other classmates to arrive. when we were contented with our companions, we went upstairs at gdlsc to see the exhibits at each nal. after we saw one exhibit, we signed at the attendance at the end of the hall. after signing in the attendance, we went downstairs and sat in front of the accounting building. we chat and chat with each other because we miss each other especially those who have been transferred to another section. when the sun has already set, we went to jollibee to eat because most of us were hungry.
at jollibee, we ate and again chat with each other. i was surprised to see our former classmate and he even had a chat with us. i don't really like him at all for certain reasons. after we ate, we bid goodbye to claire because she's going home. after which, we went back inside our school. we saw our former classmates so we bonded with them again. the program took a while to start. the students were already in the middle of the quadrangle for the anticipation of the celebration. we first had the opening prayer and the singing of the philippine national anthem. then, our very own nursing dance troupe performed as well. and the party begins!
the first to perform was the college bands from the freshmen to seniors. of course, the first to perform were the freshmen, followed by the sophomore, the juniors and finally the seniors. each band performed four songs which most of know. when the seniors performed, there were 2 sets of band to pave way for them to be remembered for they're already graduating. oh man! some of the members of the band from the seniors were really good looking. i just can't resist looking at them and taking pictures of them. it was a good show from all the college bands who performed. really great! :)
i was so pissed off with our digital camera because it went dead when the guest bands were about to perform. by the way, i forgot to mention that dj peter clay is so hot. he's just drop dead gorgeous. all the girls were screaming for him. then, the guest band performed. first to perform was miguel escueta and his band. omg! i didn't know that miguel escueta was that hot in person. i see him in mtv but i don't really pay attention that much to his music videos but when i saw him that night, i went crazy for him. he was really nice and such a good performer. his songs are nice and he's really good looking. i just can't forget about him. after he performed, callalily was the next guest band to perform. the girls all went crazy for them. they have such good energy while performing. guess whose zipper was down during that time?! haha :) anyways, moving on, they were so nice excpet for tatsi who didn't even smile at the crowd of girls screaming his name. they sang some of the songs in their album and some extra songs.
after the night, we decided to go home. the lrt station was already closed so we went home by bus. i was really tired and i slept for a while in the bus. i kinda have a neck pain and felt like i was having stiff neck. thank god i got to go home safe. it was really a fun night. good thing i decided to watch. i hope every nursing student of ceu enjoyed it too. that's all :)

ust nursing dance troupe: urban hype

yesterday, november 14, 2007, i went to ust to watch my friend kathleen and the rest of the nursing dance troupe for their concert. i found out it was their nursing week. i was supposed to meet up with josyl at ust but coincidentally, i saw kathleen's mom at the lrt so we went together. it was in the afternoon and everyone in my family thought i have classes. when i was already in the train, i texted my mother and told her that i am going to school because we have a meeting and afterwards i'll go to ust to watch the concert. anyways, the trip going to manila was okay. me and kat's mom rode a jeepney at recto going to dapitan.
when we arrived at ust, we went directly to the med building where we waited for kathleen. i really like ust. i wished i passed there but i didn't. it's my dream school. my eldest sister was a graduate of ust nursing. anyways, i saw a lot of cute guys there but i didn't even bother to go crazy..hehe :) kat saw us and she gave us our tickets. i was waiting for josyl but i found out that she's still a long way to the med building. kat told us that we could already go upstairs so we did. i was telling josyl what to do. when we were outside the med auditorium, the strong scent of formalin was kinda poisoning us.
the program started a little late due to the symposium that happened a while back before the concert. me and josyl was kinda sleepy because we were sleepy. finally, the program started. its all dance. it was a good show. i had fun!:) all of them were very good and its amazing to watch all of them. i would also like to dance but i don't know where i would squeeze the time because i already have a busy schedule. anyways, i got home at about 10:30 pm. hope to see more of those in the coming years as i spend my days as a college student :)

nheng @ 18

i know it's a little late for me to be posting this but i just want to share the night that me and my classmates had fun. well, last november 10, 2007, saturday, our classmate nheng, invited us to her 18th birthday party at bosay resort in antipolo which their family owns. after classes we all were in a hurry but then there were still other businesses that each one has to attend to. we accompanied our classmate anabelle to the john steves salon because she's going to make her hair curly. anyways, we spent a long time in the salon for it takes time to do the curling. while we were there, we just chatted with each other and observed the salon for it was our first time to go in there. we always pass by that salon every morning when we go to school and every afternoon when we're going home.
after anabelle was done, we went to the lrt station for it was the fastest was to go to antipolo. we waited for our other classmate upstairs at the lrt station. two of our companions went ahead because they have to stop by gateway first then, two others went ahead to santolan station because they are included in the program. when our classmates whom we have been waiting for arrived, we headed to the train tracks where we waited for the train to come going to santolan. finally, the train arrived and we boarded the train. it wasn't a long trip from legarda station to santolan station. when we arrived at santolan station, i was shocked to see that most of our classmates during the first semester was there to attend nheng's party.
when everything was settled, we rode an fx going to bosay resort. we all chatted inside the fx and caused us to be so noisy. when we arrived at the resort, i was so amazed because it was beautiful and there were already many people. we were assisted as to where we are supposed to change our clothes. we saw the debutante for the first time. she was absent in our class for the past few days preparing for her birthday. then, after a few chats with her, we went upstairs so we could change our clothes. the girls were the only ones in that room but there were few disturbances as people keep coming and going to get some of their things inside the room. i find nheng's cousin really good looking. he was the one who assisted us in the room and told us what we have to do. he was so nice..hehe..^^ moving on, we spent a lot of time inside the room making ourselves pretty for the party. i had fun putting make-up on myself because i don't usually wear make-up. i ask the assistance of cez in putting blush on because i don't know how to put on blush on.
while inside the room, we were pretty much busy making ourselves more beautiful. when we were finally done changing our clothes, we left the door unlocked so that other people would be able to go in the room. finally, after we were done pimping ourselves, we joined the party . the party went on for about a long period of time. we ate, watched parts of the program, chatted with each other and took pictures of one another. most of us didn't have the time to go swimming due to lack of energy and we were already sleepy. all the rooms in the resort are already occupied so it was difficult for us to fall asleep. when the room was already empty, we settled in there to do what we want to do...sleep. the room smells so bad due to the number of people who smoked in there. the room was also dirty for there were many garbage and empty bottles of coke and liquor. i think we slept at about 3 or 4am and only slept for an hour. some of us didn't even sleep because there was no room.
at about 5 in the morning, we all woke up for it's time for us to go home. by the way, it was an overnight birthday party. it was so cold during the morning and too bad i wasn't able to bring with me a jacket. we rode the tricycle that would take us to the fx terminal. we don't know where alvin was so we decided to ride the fx that would take us to where we're going. there was no traffic so we traveled faster than expected. me, claire and jecca rode a jeepney at sta. lucia for us to be able to go home. when i got home, i slept again for i only had short sleep at the resort. i woke up again when it's time for us to eat lunch. after i ate lunch, i went back to sleep because i still feel a bit sleepy. i woke up again during dinner time. it was a tiring day but at the same time it was a night to remember.

start of second semester

november 5, 2007. first day of the 2nd semester. i was a little late because there was a traffic and i got a little lost. our first subject were microbiology and parasitology lec and lab, physics, computer and religion. my first day was fun but you know it's bit tiring because our class starts from 7am and ends on 7pm but it's only every monday. anyways, we have new classmates since our section was reshuffled which was not so good. we have to deal with new people and get along with them. well, i think my new classmates are nice but i don't like one particular classmate of ours. well, its a good thing that our religion professor is not feeling well so she ended the class early and we went home 1 hour before the class ends.
november 6, 2007. second day. finally, our dismissal time is 5pm. our first two class was attended by our professor and still, our professor in physics didn't show up. i don't know why. so, we ended up waiting for a long time for our next class. we stayed downstairs at gdlsc and we chatted with our former classmates. when it was time for us to go, we said our goodbyes and proceeded to the room for our next class. again, we got lost and headed the wrong way. i don't really like our professor in english because she seems like a terror professor, i don't know. i went home when the sun has already disappeared.
november 7, 2007. third day. i went to school early because we are supposed to be at school on 10am but when i got there, the first batch was still inside the nal 3. it was for our community orientation. while we were outside, waiting for our turn, we chatted with our former classmates and it was a lot of fun. we enjoyed each other's company and it felt like we didn't see each other for years. then, it was time to have our orientation. it was so cold inside the nal 3rd and everybody was so noisy but i think they're still listening to the clinical instructors. we were entertaining ourselves so as not to fall asleep.
after the orientation, we ate at kfc. i missed eating at kfc. we had a wonderful time chatting with each other and we had a good laugh. we were reminiscing the past when we were all still classmates during the first semester. it was a lot of fun and i miss 2S. anyways, that's all for now.

classes resume tomorrow

oh man! tomorrow will be the start of the second semester. i wish i could survive all our subjects especially the major subjects. also, this second semester will be a heavy load for all the sophomore students of bs nursing. anyways, during mondays our classes will start at 7am and will end at 7pm. it's my first time to have a class that ends at 7pm. goodluck to me :) anyways, goodluck to all college students out there! we can make it through!! :)

a journey to the province

last october 31, 2007, me and my family went to our province, infanta, quezon to commemorate our loved ones who passed away. we left cainta, rizal at about 3pm. we waited for our mom and our cousin because they went to dangwa to buy some flowers. while waiting for them, we kept ourselves busy doing anything we like. i really don't like going to the province but its a family tradition to go to the province whenever there are special occasions. it was a 3-hour journey to our province. the road to our province is a dizzy one but i'm used to it. before, when i was younger, i used to puke anywhere because i feel so dizzy but everything's changed.
it was a tiring day and we all slept in the car except for my dad who is driving. when we arrived at our cousin's house, it was almost 7:30pm. we ate dinner because we were all hungry. by the way, during our travel time, we ate the snacks that our mom bought. anyways, after we ate dinner, we went upstairs and rested at the room prepared for us. the usual, we watched tv from the room because we can see through outside and the tv is big. when i felt i was so tired, i decided to sleep. oh man! my back hurts because i slept on the floor without something soft in my back.
next day. november 1, 2007. my back really hurts. when i woke up, i discovered that some of our cousins relatives are also there. i ate 3 pieces of bread because i didn't feel like eating rice. after doing so, i went upstairs and joined my sisters who were watching the latest episode of season 4 of grey's anatomy. after some time, our mom told us to take a bath because we are going to the cemetery.
after watching grey's anatomy, we watched gossip girl. oh my gosh! i am so in love with the actors who played the characters of dan humphrey and nate..hehe..^^ they're so adorable. anyways, i was glad i was able to finish watching that episode of gossip girl. anyways, after watching, it was my turn to take a bath. after i took a bath, my other sister watched again the episode of gossip girl because she wasn't able to end it. after all of us were done preparing, we headed to the cemetery. it was just a short ride to the cemetery. there were a lot of people (of course..duh!) anyways, by the time we got to our grandmother and tito's grave, there were no visitors yet. so, we put some flowers on their grave. what we did was eat and just stare at all the people coming and going. we were so bored and wasn't able to do anything productive.
finally, we finally decided to go home. well, me, my sister and my nephew watched high school musical 2. i don't know why i even watched it..haha..=D after watching, me and my sisters watched one episode of the anime, honey and clover. after that, i decided to go down to eat dinner. man! it was really boring when you don't get to do anything. i wasn't really in the mood to eat so i didn't get to finish my dinner. when i got up, all of the people are upstairs watching television. we always join them whenever they watch tv but we are inside the room we're sleeping in. i also get to watch the filipino version of the mexican telenovela marimar. man! its really bad acting. my relatives in the province are kapuso (gma 7) which i guess i watch more programs i abs-cbn.
i can't sleep that night because my sister is humming different tunes which really annoyed me. i woke up to the sounds of 3 doors down "here without you". i really like that song. anyways. i didn't get up yet because i was so lazy to get up. my youngest sister woke me up by throwing pillows at me. i was annoyed, once again. anyways, when i finally decided to get up, i went down and ate breakfast. my dad told us from the balcony that we were going to visit our aunt who is now recovering from a coma. well, we walked up to where their house is located. it was nice to have a walk in the province because the air is fresh and cold. when we got there, there wasn't anything good to do and we're all bored looking at the scenery. my parents are the ones who did all the talking with our relatives.
finally, my mom decided that it was time for us to go. we said our goodbyes and off we went.it feels so good to breathe fresh air unlike in manila where the air is polluted. after visiting our other relatives we took a bath because we are going home to cainta. we ate lunch and had a little chat before taking off and finally we're on the road. my mom had to do some work so we had several stop over. after all the stop over we headed off. it feels so nice to see a familiar territory. when we finally got home, it felt so good. i fixed all my things and decided to go to sleep. it feels so nice to be able to have a long sleep. well, that's the end of my post. goodnight :)

i'm bored

oh man! i'm so bored. its always like this every time there is a break from school. i have no idea what to do in our house. during this semester break, i've watched every series that we have at home, like ugly betty, grey's anatomy, prison break and heroes. sometimes i just sleep, eat, listen to the music and watch something that interests me. oh well.. classes is soon to begin once again. happy halloween everyone! :)

end of the enrollment/bianca's 18th birthday

finally, after 3 days of going back to school for enrollment, i managed to finish all steps last october 26, 2007. i woke up early in the morning because we all agreed to go to school at 7am sharp. i arrived at about 7:05am but at least i was still early. i first saw my classmate vj who was the first to arrive. then i was the next and alvin and john paul arrived at the same time. then one by one they started coming. we were pissed off with some of our classmates who came in late. we texted them and asked them where they were but they weren't even replying. they came at 8am and we were like mad at them for not coming on time.
after we were all complete, we went upstairs at gdlsc 3rd floor where the next step is supposed to take place. when we arrived at the 3rd floor there were already few people. we waited in the line for our turn. while outside the room, we were all chatting with each other. the first year student assistant got all our id's so she could look for our enrollment envelope. after which, finally all of us were able to go inside the room. in that step, we are able to determine what section we are supposed to be in. we all planned to finish enrollment at the same time so that we would all be in the same section.
while inside, we all waited for our turn for each enrollment advisers to tend to us. some of us were even having a good time talking with the clinical instructors. after the first one finished, we all waited for the others to finish so that we could proceed to the next step. when we were all done, we went downstairs for encoding and i thought we would finish early but i was wrong. when we were at the encoding step, they told us that are section doesn't have a schedule yet. we were all disappointed so we went to other places while waiting for our turn. me and dana were together all the time. by the time we were both hungry, we ate downstairs.
after we were done eating, we saw our classmate anabelle and she told us that we can proceed to the encoding. we were so happy so we immediately went upstairs. by the time we got there, we had a problem. one of the professors told us that we should have 32 units so all of us went upstairs and explained the commotion downstairs. we all complained so one of the clinical instructors went downstairs to talk to the people in charge of the encoding. after the problem was solved, we went downstairs again to finish with the encoding step. after we were done, me and dana went immediately to the cashier to pay our tuition. when we got there, the line was so long but good thing that dana's aunt reserved us a spot. i was really devastated because of the long line. while waiting for the line to move, i borrowed dana's zen so that i wouldn't get bored. we also chatted so that the boredom will lessen.
i was really worried with the time because i have to go to my friend bianca's debut. we got inside the cashier at about 3pm. we went in line at 1pm and oh can you just imagine the time we spent in the line. after we finished at the casher, we went to the srmd which is the second to the last step. the line wasn't that long and the procedure went fast. after finishing at srmd, we went to the final step which is the final registration. the line was long and it was slow moving. the guard lets in a person one at a time. by the time i got in, it was already 4pm. me and my friends are supposed to meet at sm megamall at 5:30pm but i was till at school. by the time i got to the last step i only had few minutes left. after i finished with all steps, i immediately went out of school and i ran sometimes.
i texted my friend kathleen to know where she is. she told me that she's on her way to megamall. i was really in such a hurry to go home so that i cold change my dress. by the time i got home, it was almost dark. i didn't take a bath coz i would be more late. when i was about to leave, it took some time for me to convince my parents to give me money. i texted my friends to tell them to wait for me at sm megamall. i was really pissed off because there was a traffic going to junction. when i got down from the jeepney, i went to the fx terminal to wait for an fx going to sm megamall. good thing there was an fx and i went in. i was really glad that there weren't that much traffic. when i was near sm megamall, my friends were calling me and asking where i was.
finally, i arrived at sm megamall. i went inside and found my friends waiting for me. when i got in we went outside to wait for a cab. it was really difficult for us to hail a cab so we decided to go to the line of the taxi terminal. we found our other friend there so we joined them in the line. it took us a long time to get a cab in the line so me, kathleen, blaine and andrew went to other side to take cab but there still weren't any. we decided to walk to were we can find jeepneys. we were lucky enough to find a transpo to take us to jade palace.
we were all glad to arrive at jade palace. we waited for our other friends before we went inside. finally, we were all there and bon was the one who took us inside the venue. when we got to the place, our friend bianca was surprised to see us. and the party begins. we prayed first before we ate. there were a lot of foods put in in front of us, not to mention its chinese food. all the foods was so delicious and we were all full. i love the buchi..hehe..^^ while we were eating, the short program began. it was a fun program and it was a fun birthday party. we finished at about 10pm. it was nice to get together with my friends. i got home after a long day.

first day of enrollment

yesterday was the first day of enrollment. me and my groupmates were the first to enroll because we were transferred to another section. i arrived at school at about 12:00 noon. when i went upstairs, the first batch to enroll haven't started yet. they told me that they were on-hold because the clearance isn't out yet. so, what i did was ate my lunch because i was really hungry and i felt so dizzy because of the hot weather. good thing i was with my former classmates rio and danica to accompany me while i eat. after i finished eating, we went upstairs to the gdlsc 2nd floor to check for the progress. when we were there, the line seems to be a lot longer when i arrived. what we did is we endured the long line. ceu's system is really slow. i was in the line at about 1:30pm and the line isn't moving at all. all of the students were noisy and have their own businesses to mind. good thing my classmates are there and i wasn't alone.
we waited hours before its our time to proceed to step 1. i was in the line at 1:30pm and only started progressing at about 3:00pm. the first room was full of people and OMG! the smell wasn't so good. there were some hateful second year students, which are my batchmates. i hate them even before..haha..^^ it was really a long process of enrollment. when we arrived at step 2, we have had to be put on hold because two of our subjects in our clearance doesn't have grades. what we did is we went to the dean's office to settle the problem. it took some time for us to wait for our grades. one of my classmate was annoying me so i got angry at him. he's always like that but sometimes his jokes are offensive. anyways, after they gave our grades we went back to step 2. man! it was really tiring.
after settling all the requirements in step 2, we went upstairs to the 3rd floor. i was glad that we were no longer in section E and was transferred again to our original section S. i was sad though, because some of my groupmates was transferred to another section. we did everything so that our CI would allow them to transfer to our section. i just wish they would be transferred. after wards, we decided to go home for we are all tired. i will resume my enrollment on october 25, 2007.

i miss the uaap games...

how i wish the uaap games didn't end but it has to end. a while ago, i was watching the replay of the la salle-ateneo game on studio 23. i think it was their 1st game of the 1st round. i really miss cheering with the crowd even though i'm at home watching in the television. i am very much alive when i get to watch uaap games. i miss everything about it despite that my school is not included in the uaap. anyways, it is always a delight for me to watch the uaap games though sometimes the school i'm cheering for looses. i can't wait for the next season. animo la salle! till the end.. take care guys. godbless..

hell week is over!!!

yay! finally, hell week is over. after our final exams last october 11, 2007, all second year nursing students of first semester, school 2007-2008 got busy finishing our output for our health care requirements. we all thought that we were gonna have a full semester break but we were wrong. all groups of ahse 2S had their meeting on what to do with all the requirements. we were all super busy with typing our output, going to school for the clinical instructors to check and correct them. i was really not in the mood to go to school but then i have to because it's a requirement and i have to pass all of it.
we also had problems with the grouping because my group, 2S was divided among 3 clinical instructors. we had problems because we didn't know if were going to be a part of our adopted group during the book binding. anyways, this whole week has been hell for all sophomore students. for the past few weeks, all i did was type my output, print it, edit it and think about the informations to put in the output. i also had to sleep for less hours and it was very tiresome. some had problems with the format but fortunately it went well.
today, it was the day for all groups to book bind their output. my adopted group was 2S2 and earlier today we met up at jollibee mendiola. oh my gosh! this week has also been about bankruptcy. i have to ask my mom and dad for money and i was really guilty on doing so but i really have to. all my money is gone just for the sake of finishing my output. moving on, me and my groupmates arranged all the outputs in proper order according to the table of contents. it was really tiring and you have t o have money for all the expenses. i was glad that we were able to find a place at recto were the price for book binding was appropriate for our budget. i was really glad that this whole output thing is over.
after our business at school, we went to jowell's apartment to have some fun. i went home early because i felt really asleep and i don't drink alcoholic beverage that much..hehe..^^ all i have to do is worry about my grades. we can see it on october 23. i hope that i'm going to pass because i really don't want to be an irregular student. i don't want to be delayed for a year. anyways, i'm really glad that i can finally have the break i've been waiting for. i wish i would really pass. i hope that ahse 2S would always be ahse 2S. keep the faith guys! hoping to see you next semester. take care you guys. godbless...

sembreak is in the air

yey! finally, its our sembreak, i can finally go to sleep for long hours. our exams our over but then i still have to go to school for the completion of our requirements. tomorrow, i have to go back to school to finish my retdem then on monday i have to submit the final output for our community immersion. i am so happy that i can finally take a break from all the studying and enjoy this short vacation we have.
i hope that next semester the classmates i have right now would still be my classmates for next them. i dearly love them and their the best classmates though i'm not saying my classmates during my freshmen year wasn't that great. i so love this semester. i hope that i could pass anatomy and physiology because i don't want to be an irregular student next semester.
anyways, i have confidence and faith that i would be able to pass..hehe..^^ until here. take care everyone.. godbless..^^

finals week

yay! it's finals already. this week is our final exams and i'm so happy that i would be able to sleep for long hours. i hope i can really pass anatomy and physiology because i'm on the verge of failing. thank you to my classmates and friends who believes that i can pass. thank you for the encouragement.. i love you guys! for now, i would have to study hard and pass this final exams..

dlsu champions!!!

omg! this day is the most awaited day for all the uaap season 70 fans of the senior's men's basketball. i thought i wasn't able to start because i was doing something. when i turned on the television it was still the awarding ceremonies. chris tiu's brother is really good looking. i was surprised that he was there and the reason behind that is chris tiu wasn't present to receive his award as a part of the mythical five.
then, the game started. it was a really good game which made me nervous. i really wanted la salle to win the championships because i think it's their year despite of their suspension last year. i was really nervous when ue was leading the game but i was glad that la salle was able to overcome ue's lead. at the 4th quarter, i was screaming and i cannot control myself from doing so. while watching the game, i was doing my community output but i can't really concentrate because i would really like to watch the action. i was so loud downstairs watching the game. it was so intense and i thought they wouldn't survive. then, it happened.. the de la salle university green archers beat the ue red warriors. they were named the uaap season 70 senior's men's basketball champions. i was really glad that they won and i was really happy. i was so happy for them. i realy love oliver cua..hehe..^^
good thing that la salle won because i really didn't like the attitude of ue. they thought that because they were able to sweep the whole elimination round doesn't mean that no one could beat them. i think la salle had the passion and determination to win. they really played well and was able to execute a good game. i really love it! animo la salle!!!

community immersion

last october 3-4, 2007 was our last community immersion for this semester at balakilong, batangas. well, i actually don't want to go because the after work is crazy. i think my chosen course, nursing, is a hell lot of a course. its hard but at the same time fun. i woke up early in the morning of october 3 because i didn't want to be late. my classmate angel picked me up at home using their car. her dad dropped us off at the lrt station in santolan. when there, we waited for our other classmates to arrive. when we were completed we rode the train going to legarda station. when we arrived at legarda station, we immediately hailed a cab to take us to park and ride at lawton because it is our meeting place. while waiting for our clinical instructors, some of us bought foods in the stalls at lawton. i also bought donuts at mister donut because the donuts displayed in dunkin donuts is not of my liking..hehe..^^
ma'am laccopia, the clinical instructor from team b asked us to form a line by group because we are going to ride the bus. i was really nervous at that time because i violated a rule (i won't say what rule that is) and i thought that she's going to inspect our bags. then came sir castelo (oh! i miss him so much!). he was our health care lecture professor during the midterms. finally, we boarded the bus. same place as before during our first community immersion. there were a lot of my classmates who arrived late but thank goodness they were still allowed to join the immersion. there were also other students from other sections who join us. we started our trip with a prayer to ask for guidance and blessing from the Lord. then, the conductor of the bus put in a dvd for us to watch during the trip. it was evan almighty and i was glad because i haven't watched that movie yet.
i wasn't able to pay attention to the movie at first because the volume was low and at the same time i had a slight headache. but then i tried watching it and it was a lot of fun. the movie was funny and i loved it. after the movie, all of us went back to normal. chatting with each other, sleeping and eating inside the bus. we were really surprised because we arrived at the sto. tomas market earlier than we expected. when there, we bought all the necessary food provisions that we have to buy. me and my buddies bought a lot of food provisions for our satisfaction..hehe..^^ after buying, we went back to the bus. there were still only few of us so what we did was to take pictures inside the bus. i am actually the official photographer of our section. we took a lot of pictures and most of them are really hilarious. after we were tired taking pictures, we sat down and relaxed and waited for our other classmates. after being completed, we now set off to balakilong.
it was still a long trip from sto. tomas to balaiklong. i took the chance to take a sleep even though some of my classmates were very noisy. when we finally got to balakilong, we were all happy. we went to the barangay hall where our clinical instructors will give us further reminders and instructions. after that, we all went to our respected foster parents home. when we arrived at our foster parents home, our foster parents weren't there as well as their children, the first thing that we did was to put our things in the room assigned to us. after which we went to the kitchen to cook our lunch. we cooked pork chop for our lunch because it is much easier to cook. after we were done cooking, it's time for us to eat. i ate a lot because i was really hungry. when we were done eating, we washed the dishes and went back to our room. we rested for a while before going back to the barangay hall for a meeting with the clinical instructors.
it was really nice to have a sleep even just for while. i wake my buddies before 2 o'clock so that we can prepare. after we were done, we went to the barangay hall. there, the ci's told us what we have to do for our output. after the meeting, we each went back to accomplish our jobs. some went to look for other families to interview including me but i decided to stick with the family in our house. while waiting for them, me and paula slept because we were really tired. i woke up when our foster parents have arrived. i was writing my learning feedback diary when our ci's visited us at home. tatay told us that they were there so i went out of the house. they just wanted to know our names and the name of our foster mother. after they left, i went back t our room to continue what i was doing. i wasn't able to interview my foster family early because they had visitors and i though it would be rude to do so.
finally, when the family was available, i grabbed the opportunity and asked them if i could interview them. after they agreed, i gathered all my things and started the interview. after my interview with the family, i went back to our room, and continued writing my lfd. when paula, got back from her interview, we went to the kitchen to cook dinner. we had a long chit chatting while we were eating and it was so fun and we enjoyed every stories we shared. after finishing, we went back to our room, did our rituals before going to bed. i continued with my lfd before i slept. it was a very long and tiring day. finally, the first day of our second community immersion is finished.
next day. i woke up at 6:45 in the morning. i did my morning rituals and woke my buddies so that we can freshen ourselves before the healthy lifestyle. when it's almost 7:00am, we went to the barangay hall for our healthy lifestyle. when the ci's arrived, we started the exercise. we had a lot of fun during the exercise because the leaders were doing funny things. after the exercise, group s and s1 were the first one to take the quiz because there weren't much space inside the barangay hall. after our group was done taking the quiz, we accompanied dana and anne to buy spaghetti sauce. while doing so, we were taking pictures to have remembrance. it was so much fun taking pictures. after which, we went to their foster house to eat spaghetti and the tiramisu dana and anne made. when there, we continued with our lfd and after they were done cooking, we ate. the spaghetti and tiramisu was so delicious. i really loved it. after finishing the food, we chatted about certain things and we enjoyed every bit of it. when we were done, we decided to go back home to our respected family house.
back at our room, we chatted more and i decided to take a bath first. it was so nice to take a bath because you feel refreshed. when i was done, my other buddy took her bath. i went out of the house to ask nanay if she have the evaluation form for the parents, she said that our ci's took it already so i went abck to our room. when all of us were done bathing, we arranged our things, prepared ourselves to leave balakilong. we went to the place where the bus dropped us off when we got to balakilong. finally, our bus arrived and we boarded it. before going to the bus, we were taking pictures in the highway..hehe..^^ then off we go to manila. the conductor once again let us watch another movie which is music and lyrics. i love that movie. the story was nice and i fell in love with hugh grant. it was a really nice movie and i would love to watch it again once i have the time, but not right now.
it was a long trip from batangas to manila. i was so excited to go back home because i thgouht i was going to be able to watch the uaap finals game 1 between dlsu and ue. unfortunately, the television on our bus doesn't have studio 23. i was really pissed off because there was huge traffic in manila. what i did was i texted some people i know who are also watching. i was so happy that they replied to my texts and updated me with the scores. finally, we arrived at lawton, manila. we are back in manila. we all went our separate ways to go back home. me and my companions rode the taxi. when we were at the taxi stand, we saw a television which was on studio 23. my classmates were joking me and told me that they would leave me there so i can watch the game. finally, its our turn to ride the taxi. we told the taxi to drop us off at legarda station. the traffic was really heavy and that was what made me more pissed off.
at legarda station, we rode the train going to santolan station. there, we rode the fx so that we could go home much earlier. i was really happy with the results because la salle was leading the game. sometimes, i get so worried because i thought they were gonna lose. finally, i arrived at my destination, makro. at the tricycle, i was still in contact with those who are watching the uaap game. i was so happy when my friend told me that la salle won with a one-point lead. i was really glad because the people from ue are so "mayabang" because they thought no one could beat them. i wish la salle will win this championship this year for the uaap men's basketball. that's it for now. i'm going to finish what has to be done.

animo la salle!

today, we had our practice for our play in english. my classmates went to our house to practice. i gladly agreed that our house could be the venue for our practice. well, we changed our play and i think it was better than the first one. i was worried with the time because the game is supposed to start at 3pm. when the game started, my classmates already left. i took a bath first because i really needed one. the door of the bathroom was open so that i could hear the television. i was so excited because it will be the last showdown of dlsu and admu for this season. i really want la salle to win because they always lose to ateneo. they only won once against ateneo. the game was so good and the de la salle community was on high spirits. though i know many people who are pro-ateneo i'm still a pure la sallian (though i'm not studying in la salle)..hehe..^^ my dad was watching with me and i don't know which team he is. on the last few minutes, i was really nervous because i thought ateneo will catch up but they didn't. thanks to the free throws of jayvee casio. then, at the buzzer beater, la salle won! yey! they're going to face the ue red warriors in the finals. its pumaren vs pumaren in the finals. can't wait for it!^^ animo la salle! keep the spirit..

a day of rest

finally, i'm yet to have my break for a while. i only get a break during weekends after my saturday classes. it's really tiring. from monday thru saturday i have classes and its from 7am-4pm. i still can't have enough rest because during weekends, there are still lot of school works to do. i just really have a little time to surf the net and check all my accounts in cyber space. thank god i'm still surviving college life. its fun being a college student because you're already legal to go wherever you want. i'm glad that i still have a social life despite of my busy schedule. i still get to go out if there's a chance and lucky for me to have those chances. sembreak is soon and i still have to wait just a little time before that. i would really use my sembreak to sleep and do whatever i want that i wasn't supposed to do on regular school days. that's all for now..^^

my frustrations

oh well.. today was the deciding game of which team will face the de la salle green archers. today's game was ateneo vs ust. i was cheering for ust because i just want to. during the first half, ust was leading the score board but then somehow ateneo was able to catch up. i was really happy with the game. sadly, the defending champions lost and they don't have any chance foe a game in the finals. it was sad because i would really like them to win today's game. i really don't like ateneo players sometimes. some of them are "mayabang" and some are "mayabang na nga, pangit pa". that's the only thing i don't like about ateneo. some of them think they're so good but talking about attitude, some of them really sucks. i don't know why their attitude should be like that. mahirap talaga pag nasa school ka na mataas ang expectations sayo ng tao. their wins get through their heads which makes them boastful at all costs. i was really frustrated that ust lost. i hope that on thursday, september 27, 2007, la salle will beat ateneo as well as the 2nd game. as we all know, la salle has a twice-to-beat advantage and i hope that the la salle community will do good. if its ateneo vs la salle, i would go for la salle. animo la salle! it may seem that i'm "balimbing" because i have pictures with some ateneo players but that's just how i am. i know what team to cheer and though some of my friends don't agree with my decisions i'll still be defending my decisions. i am who i am.. godbless everybody..

finally, its a weekend

finally, i get to have a rest but only for a day and a half. i have classes ever saturday and my only break is sunday. oh man! even if i have a break i still have a lot of school works to do. anyways, at least i'm still blessed with a break. we had our pe today which is swimming and it was very tiring. the water in the pool is very very cold. i really wanted to sleep after that but i still have one class left. i also saw my crush who is also a nursing student but he's an irregular student because of a failure. that's all for now. i'm tired. got to sleep..^^

yey! la salle won!!!

yey! today was the deciding game between ateneo and la salle. i was at school today and i wasn't able to watch the game on tv. while we were on the lrt, there were ateneo students who watched the game live. i was tempted to asked who won but i was rather shy so it kept me thinking about who won. i was excited to go home but my friend jecca wanted to eat something because she was hungry (i as well was also hungry). we decided to buy some donuts at dunkin donuts. after finishing our donuts, i bought some nuts because its been a while since i've eaten nuts. i also saw my classmate in high school allen. after doing so, we rode a jeep going home. it was a short ride to our village. when i was about to go down the jeepney, i heard the dj reporting about the game today. he announced that it was ateneo who won and i was a little saddened about the news. i thought i was goignt o be hit by the vehicles because i was in the middle of the road and trying to listen to the sports update. when i got home, i ate a little bit of the cake left. it was a good thing that my family hasn't finished eating yet so they were still watching the news. then, i saw the report that la salle won against ateneo and i was so glad that they won after having 3 matches.. goodbye for now..^^

bad trip/happiest moment

today is a saturday. we have saturday classes. when i got to school, i was so pissed off with the guard because he confiscated my i.d for wearing an open-toe shoes. i immediately asked the help of some of my classmates. i borrowed the shoes of my classmate then i returned to the north gate and i talked to the guard who confiscated my i.d to give it back to me. fortunately, the guard believed the lie that my classmate told him. after that, i was laughing inside because i can't believe that they would fall for a lie like that. i was so relieved that we didn't have our laboratory class because i wasn't able to study for i came home late yesterday.

we then stayed at the technology center while waiting for the time of our next class. we were just sitted talking with each other and sharing some stories from before. until we multiplied in number, we then decided to go to excel to take a look of our other classmates work in our project in computer. after doing so, we also checked the friendster account of our section two-es. they were so amazed because there are so many pictures courtesy of me, the official photographer of our section..hehe..^^ it was nice looking at all those pictures. each pictures will receive a criticism whether it is good or bad. when it was already time, we went to the dentsci building for our next class which is swimming. we stayed downstairs for a while because i wanted to eat something for i didn't take my breakfast. after some rituals, we went to the 5th floor because that is where the swimming pool is.
i was so surprised that most of the number of girls in our class is not going to swim. we had our substitute teacher because our professor was absent and i don't know why. we were scolded by the substitute professor because of the situation. anyways, after that, those who are going to swim proceeded to the pool and those who aren't were just sitted in the benches offered. i talked with the dianne for its been a long time since i've talked to her. i also talked with the dianne's classmate, michelle, who is the girlfriend of my dear friend jaycee..hehe..^^ it was nice talking to htem because i've discovered some things from their classmates. it was nice watching the students swimming in the swimming pool. i also took some pictures of my classmates during the swimming. it was so fun and at the same time annoying because the boys wanted mo to get wet so they splashed water at me but thank goodness i wasn't that much wet. then, the time is over. it was the end of our swimming class.
after jecca finished taking a bath, we went immediately at the ninoy aquino stadium to buy tickets for the ateneo-nu game. we went there by taxi and we were in such a hurry because we taught we were going to be late and because our class picture was today. when we arrived at the ninoy aquino stadium, there were already people who are going to watch the games for today. after buying the tickets, i saw a player from the ateneo blue eagles. i told jecca that it was jai reyes but she wasn't able to see him that much. then, when we were going out of the gates, we saw eric salamat. then when we were out, we saw more of the ateneo players. we started giggling because they were all so hot except for some players. we were starstrucked during that time and we were panicking. after our panick attacks, we once again rode a taxi going to lrt legarda station. we went to araneta ticket center too claim our reserved ticket for the cheerdance competition on sunday. me and jecca were both haggard and we didn't look so good that time.
when we were there, we went to the ticket center but the lady said that the person we were looking for had her day-off. we went back to gateway mall so that we could go back to school. i texted micah that we weren't able to claim the tickets. her mom eventually called the ticket net and i was able to claim the tickets. i was so poor today because my 630.00 all went to the payment of the reserved tickets. i cannot believe it. it was the first time for me that my wallet doesn't have anything on it, not even a siblge penny. thank god i have 10.00 left in my coin purse. after claiming the tickets, we immediately went back to school because we still have one class left. at the south gate, once again, i was caught by the guard because of my shoes. fortunately for me, the guard didn't confiscate my i.d and just told me to go to the other gate where my "supposedly-confiscated-i.d-was". of course, the guard was somehow idiotic because he couldn't get my name right. after the incident, we went to the other gate at the back of our school. there, the guard didn't caught me because he was busy doing something so i ran as fast as i could..hehe..^^ we then went to our computer room where all of my classmates are busy doing their projects. hopefully for me i was already finished with the project. i then transferred it to the computer so that i could save it to the file of our section. after doing so, i asked some of my classmates if they could let me borrow some money for all of my money was gone. thank you for those who contributes.. i love you guys...
today, was the last game of the 2nd round of eliminations of uaap season 70 at the ninoy aquino stadium. me and jecca immediately went to ninoy aquino stadium after our computer class. by the time we got there, the 1st half was almost done. it was so irritating that we weren't able to start the game between ateneo and nu. the reason behind this is because of the traffic going there and the taxi driver was so slow. well anyways, we were so hyped up about the game. we were at the ateneo side which is a sea of blue. most of the seats were occupied by the ateneo community and only few nu people were there. i also saw marvin cruz, former up fighting maroons. he was good looking in person..hehe..^^ we were feeling the whole game but then was disappointed because ateneo lost to nu. the only thing that is causing confusion in my mind is that why, why is marvin cruz's girlfriend cheering for nu. is it because she doesn't want ateneo to win or is it because she was studying in nu?! that is just my assumption.
after the game, we waited at the ateneo dug-out so that we could take some pictures with the players of ateneo that we liked. when there, there were already numerous people who also wants to do the same thing as we are supposed to do. the first person that we took picture with was chris tiu's brother. he was really tall and just as handsome as his brother is. then finally, one by one, the players of ateneo went out of the locker room, fresh. we also saw ateneo's courtside reporter, vanna lim. then, our favorite players also started coming out of the locker room. first was jai reyes, he was so cute and good looking in person. next was chris tiu, oh man! that was the best for he was so good looking. though i know that time he was disappointed because they lost. last was zion laterre, he was really nice. the nicest among them for he really bent down a little when we were taking pictures with him. because he was tall, he bent down a little and he was all smiles in the picture. i don't really like nonoy baclao especially his attitude. after that, we decided to go home. it was already late but thankfully i was able to go home a little early..hehe..^^

boring days

it's really boring at home especially when it is declared that there would be no classes. before, i used to enjoy those declaration of no classes but now, i don't seem to enjoy it. why?! because i'm already in college and i'm taking up bs nursing and there are lots of lessons to be discussed and finished. its really hard for me to self-study. i learn better by listening to the professors even though some of them bores me. also, one of the major reasons that i hate suspension of classes is that i won't have any allowance for that day. i'm really short of money right now and there are things that i want to buy. its really hard for me to save money because there are lots of expenses to be paid at school and of course you need extra money in case of emergency. well, i can't do anything about the suspension of classes but since our classes is from monday thru saturday, i guess a break won't hurt...right?! its also a day where you can rest and not worry about anything regarding school matters..hehe..^^ anyways, that's all for now...

grieving over a loss

oh man! today was the second game between arch rival ateneo and la salle. i watched the live game on studio 23 since i knew even before that there is no chance for me to watch a la salle-ateneo game live. anyways, i was doing my assignment in mandarin during those times. i also watched the first game which is ust vs adamson. i'm so happy that ust won and i know that they're going to win. khasim mirza didn't play so well during this game but they ust still won. the second game is the most anticipated game of all. i don't know why the la salle-ateneo game is very special though it isn't the finals yet. abs-cbn is making such a big fuss over it. i mean most of the management of abs-cbn is from ateneo. moving on, i was really happy with the way la salle is playing in the 1st to 3rd quarter. but comes 4th quarter where most of la salle's game are sloppy. i was sad when la salle lost because i really thought that they were going to win and i really want them to win. ever since i was in first year high school, i've been an avid fan of the green archers eventhough the school i'm attending is not part of the uaap. up until now that i am in college, the university that i'm studying in is not included in the uaap but i am still an avid fan. being the fan that i am, i always try to watch the uaap games despite of my busy schedule. i haven't watch a single game live this year coz i can't find the right time to watch since there are so many things to do at school. i'm happy for ateneo though. i also like some of their players..hehe..^^ i just don't like their players who are very mayabang like claiford arao and baclao. i don't really remember if they're the only ones i don't like. it's just my opinion so those who will ever encounter this blog, don't get mad at me. anyways, i have classes tomorrow so i have to go sleep now.. good night everyone.. take care.. godbless..
