Sad.Depressed.Disappointed.Irritated

GYYYYYAAAAA!!!!! WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I WANT TO STOP CRYING BECAUSE I'M SO FREAKING TIRED AND MY EYES ARE HURTING ALREADY! I had too much tears to cry for one day. Damn!!!

What is up with this day's events. A lot has happened. Some were nice and some were really down right disappointing. I couldn't believe that all of this happened in one day. What is wrong with the world?! I just had my Recollection and now I'm adding more sins to the ones I've already confessed. Omo! This is just bad but I have my reasons.

First, today we had our Recollection at the CEU Chapel. At first I wasn't in the mood to be in such a recollection but I guess I'll just have to endure it for the day. The day went well for the morning session. There were sharing and crying that happened amongst our class. It was indeed a moment to reflect and share to others the pain we are feeling right at that moment. I'm glad that I was able to open my problems to those who I'm not so close with. There were also realizations made.

During the afternoon session, the 4A students were already there after finishing their orientation at NCMH. There were also activities and more videos were shown to us. The one that touched me the most was the letter of our parents to us children. It was really touching because I realized a lot and I feel guilty of the things shown to us. We also had the chance to write a letter to God and it feels refreshing indeed.

During our lunch break, I received a text message saying Park Jaebeom of 2PM is quitting and leaving the group. When I received the text, I was really shocked and worried. At first I thought it was a joke but one by one the messages starts coming saying all the same things Park Jaebeom is leaving 2PM and will step down as their leader. All the while I couldn't even stop thinking about the news. Just because of an innocent mistake in the past, a person actually was able to make this decision to leave his group behind?! WTF!!!

PAST IS PAST. Can't you just forgive the guy? What did he know about Korea before coming there? Yes, I know he is part Korean but didn't you understand the part that he DID NOT GROW UP in Korea? Gosh. This is so freaking mad. Of course he will be in a state of culture-shock because America is different from Korea. He lived in a different environment. before coming to Korea. Why dig up all those past issues and make auch a big fuss out of it? Man, anti-netizens are mad. Isn't it enough already that the person apologized?! Fuck all those Anti-netizens who signed the suicide petition for Leader Jay. What a stupid idea. Go kill yourselves and don't ask others to kill themselves. If you hate 2PM so much then SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! I'm so freaking mad right now.

Summer Vacation

Yay! Its time for summer vacation. Finally, all those sleepless nights has come to an end and I can finally have a rest before the start of the summer class. Today was the official end of the Second Semester, SY 2008-2009. We had our last exams for History and Pharmacology. I hope I'll pass all the exams and will have no failures for this semester.

I can't believe that after 1 summer class, I'm going to be a Senior student. Yahoo! I am so excited because it's what I've been waiting for. Its like yesterday I was only in my Freshman year and now, I'm going to be a Senior and a graduating student. I just hope and wish that I pass this year's summer class. I want the same classmates because I really enjoyed all of them especially my group O1 and our Clinical Instructors.

I'm gonna miss all the Clinical Instructors that our group had because they were all good to us. Haha :D I so love this semester. I've had my ups and downs especially being nervous about our Grand Return Demo and Oral Revalida that I passed. Congratulations to myself. Anyways, after all the hardworks for all the hospital duty, return demo, community immersion, CNPs and community draft, I'm finally getting to have a break. I can finally have a good and wonderful rest.

Amazing how all my classmates has a plan of going out of town and enjoying the summer vacation. My friends are going to Vigan and I am so envious because I don't get to go due to the fact that me, my mom and my sister are going to DFA on Monday to avail for our passports. Others are going to the beach. As for me and my family, we are going to Enchanted Kingdom. Yahoo! Finally, its been a while since I've been there. Also, my barkada are also planning a get together and we still don't know where we're going but I suggested that we go to Calatagan, Batangas because I heard that the beach there are fabulous.

I just have to enjoy my summer vacation before another of my sleepless nights starts. Thank you to all my new friends and Clinical Instructors this semester. School Year 2008-2009 now signing off!!! :D

atribidang kuyang 4th year

hay naku. nakakainis talaga kaninang umaga. i was on completion duty today sa east avenue medical center particularly at the ER. so, nagpahatid ako sa papa ko since its my first time na mag duty dun. kaya ko magcommute pero hindi ko ginawa kasi sayang sa pamasahe. haha :) tsaka sosyal ako eh. every duty na malayo, nagpapahatid ako kay papa excpet na lang kung malapit yung hospital sa bahay namin. anyways, malapit lang naman ang east ave. sa amin eh.

ayun. masyado ako napaaga sa hospital. nakatayo lang ako dun sa may gate ng hospital kasi hinihintay ko yung mga kasama ko e super tagal nila. tas si manong guard nakikipagkwentuhan pa sakin pero okay lang. haha :) sobrang dami pala nagduduty dun. sari-saring school. tapos may nakita ako na mga pauwing fourth year galing sa CEU, siguro completion. e di tumalikod ako kasi ayoko sila makita tas nagtetext pa ko nung mga time na yun kasi tinatanong nung mga kagrupo ko kung san banda yung east ave.

bigla namang nagbida-bida si kuya. aba! tinanong kung anong year ako. sabi ko thrid year. he reminded me na bawal magdala ng cellphone sa duty. hmp! if i know may mga dala din silang cellphone eh. feeling!!! he also asked me kung ano pangalan ko ( e di syempre hindi ko sinabi. e bakit ba!? e di nagkakaso naman ako) tsaka kung anong team ko (sinabi ko team a). sabi pa niya sakin sa susunod daw dapat hindi niya na ulit ako makikita na gumagamit ng cellphone. aba! talagang hindi dahil pag nangyari yun, grumaduate na siya. e kung siya nga nung pauwi na sila hindi na siya naka all-white na uniform eh. nagpalit na siya ng t-shirt na may kulay. ewan ko lang kung may kulay yun kasi hindi ko masyado maaninag kasi medyo madilim pa non.

ambisyoso talaga si kuya. feeling naman niya manguha ng id at warningan ako ng ganon. feelingero si kuya. e kung yung mismong ci nga alam na may dala kaming cellphone pero hindi naman kami sinisita eh. basta wag lang niya makikita na ginagamit namin. GOSH!!! nakakabad trip talaga. kapag nakita ko siya sa school, asahan niya ang aking pag-irap at ang pagpaparinig ng classmate ko na may galit sa mga fourth year (at hindi ko alam kung bakit). buti pa yung ibang fourth year mababait. alam ko naman na nagdadala din sila ng cellphone kasi yung kaibigan kong 4th year nagdadala din g phone tas minsan nakikita pa namin yung ibang 4th year sa jollibee mendiola nagtetext. kala niyo ha.

Jai Reyes

Grabe talaga. I was so shocked about what happened earlier this evening. I decided to go to my friend's house so we could do our requirement together. There was a huge traffic in Ortigas and made me somehow irritated. We first went to Ever Gotesco Ortigas because my friend bought a roasted chicken for our dinner. She also bought a ballpen and I also bought a ballpen for my sister.

When we were about to go to the counter, I saw Jai Reyes enter National Bookstore. I froze to where I stood and was so shocked to see him there. He was with his wife Klaire. As in, sobrang natulala ako at napatitig pa ko sa kanya. So, napatingin din siya sa akin. Alam mo naman na si Jai Reyes yun kasi I watch UAAP games so somewhat I'm knowledgeable with their players.

Grabe talaga. Yun lang ang masasabi. Sobrang kinilig naman daw ako don. Napalo ko pa nga ng malakas yung friend ko eh. Its been a while kasi since I've seen him in person. I guess I'll just have to watch this year's UAAP season. I called my friend who also have a huge crush on him and she was so envious. Haha :D I love this day!!! I'm so lucky.

Earlier in the evening, I saw a very attractive top worn by this male student, I'm guessing from San Beda College. It was evening already when the officers of the Level III Nursing Students was dismissed because we had our Dialogue with the Dean. So, me and my fellow classmate officers went out of the school together. We exited through the South Gate because the North Gate was already closed during that time.

When we were walking outside the hallway of CEU, I saw this guy wearing a shirt that says:

Haha :D I really love that shirt. I didn't know that my classmate was also looking at that shirt but when I turned around to see the guy wearing the shirt, she also saw what was written on the shirt. I really love the message. We then started making our own version if we wanted a shirt like the one we saw. The guy was actually cute. Haha :) It was really cute. The shirt is a head-turner and will surely grab your attention.

Pasado ako sa Pharmacology!!!

Wah! Isa pa lang ang alam ko sa grades ko ngayong 2nd sem. And I am proud to say na pasado ako ng Pharmacology!!! Haha :D Nakita ko yung grades ko online kasi sabi ng dalawa kong classmate may grades na pero Phramacology pa lang. Kinabahan nga ako sa grade ko kasi ang taas nung nakuha nila. Hindi ko nga expected na pasado pa ko kasi halos lahat ng quiz ko dun bagsak eh. Haha :D Buti na lang din at may deliberation pa. At siguro dahil na din sa mabait ang aming professor.

Super hindi ko talaga expected pero masaya na rin ako kahit ganon ang grade ko. Konting effort pa on my part. Siguro pumasa din ako dahil nung nag Unit Exam kami medyo confident ako habang nag-eexam kami kasi nung nag-rationalize ng quizzes si Ma'am, nakinig talaga ako tsaka na retain naman sa utak ko kahit papano yung mga sinabi niya. Mas maganda talaga pag nakikinig ka sa professor kasi may tumatagal sa utak mo. Pero minsan nga lang wala ako sa mood makinig sa discussion pero pag sinipag talaga ako, kinig to the max talaga.

Hay. Super saya ko talaga. Actually, kani-kanina ko lang naalala na released na pala yung grade sa Pharma. Hehe :D Ayun, sa awa ng Diyos pumasa ko. Yun lang naman talaga hinihiling ko na pumasa ako sa Pharma pero syempre pati na rin sa iba kong subjects. Mahaba pa ang lalakbayin ko para matapos ang 2nd sem. Hindi ko pa alam ang mangyayari sa kin sa Midterms at Finals pero dapat, DAPAT TALAGA, pumasa ako. I'll try my best to pass.

Marami pa ding pagsubok sa ibang subjects lalo na sa NCM Lecture at NCM RLE. Lalo naman sa RLE kasi super hirap na ng Oral Revalida eh. Pati sa Grand Return Demo kasi may marketing na tapos hindi mo pa alam kung ano yung mabubunot mong procedure. Good luck naman sa akin pati na rin sa mga batchmates ko.

Holiday Vacation...Not?!

Can yo believe it? Christmas season is coming soon but I couldn't feel it. Unlike before, way back when i was younger, I used to anticipate Christmas and New Year Season. My mom would buy us "torotot" and the likes but now, since we're already old enough, nothing like that is present. As time goes by, I can no longer feel the Christmas and New Year spirit just like what my friends and I shared with some of our talks. Anyways, Christmas and New Year Season is not the main topic of my post.

Well, we all thought that we could have a holiday vacation, requirement free but that is not the case with us, Junior and Senior students of Centro Escolar University College of Nursing. We still have our Enhancement Duty, which, I don't know why the College of Nursing implemented since it is against the University rules and regulations because the last day of classes were last December 19, 2008. One of our Clinical Instructors told us that the University is not responsible for anything that will happen to us students because this Enhancement Duty is not the part of the University-wide rules and regulations but the College of Nursing made it themselves.

Also, we have to make 15 Nursing Care Plans and 15 Drug Study as part of our requirement for our NCM 102 and Pharmacology subject. What a hassle?! I mean, this should be done when we get back of school for the year 2009 but they want us to make all these requirements. I'm not against it or anything because I know it will be part of our grades but, whatever (I don't exactly know how I will put it in words..haha :D). I guess I just have to make them while I still have time.

I just have to spend my holiday vacation with much fun as possible. Wait for my ninongs and ninangs to give me money or gives and indulge myself with eating lots and lots of foods. Nyahaha :D That's what its all about you know, going to different houses of your family friend to eat and talk and have fun. Have a Merry Holiday to all of you!!! Peace out! :D

Miguel Escueta @ 6Underground/Juni's Birthday

Yey! Finally, exam week is over for the Prelim Period. Next is another adventure for us Junior students to work harder for our future. Our exam in Pharmacology was so difficult that I didn't even solve some of the computation problems. I just chose from the choices given. I'm such an idiot when it comes to Math. Haha :) But I'm not stupid okay, only when it comes to numbers and computations.

Yesterday was the celebration for Miguel Escueta's lead guitarist Juni. I still feel like it happened today because I still have a hangover and its 3 o'clock in the morning. My thoughts are not really organized when I'm sleepy. While waiting for my new found friend, me and my classmates stayed at McDonald's Farmers to eat because we were all hungry. The four of us chatted until it was time for me to go. I met my new friend Karen, who is also an avid fan of Miguel Escueta.

We went together at 6Underground. We had an adventure going to SM Megamall to 6Undergorund but good thing we didn't get lost because I've already been there once. I was so shocked that there was entrance fee but since its for the sake of seeing Miguel again, we payed for it. I had to lend Karen money because she was short on budget but it was okay for me. While we were inside, some of the bands that they invited was already performing. Then, one of the workers at 6Undergorund told me that what we were waiting for has already arrived which was Miguel himself.

He was at the bar then he saw me even though the place we were staying at was a bit dark. He still noticed me. Haha :) He approached Karen and I and gave us a high five, which I think is his favorite thing to do whenever I get to see him. He is such a nice guy. He also asks us if we were okay. Then, Kuya Yuri approached us and talked to us. He talked to us and even gave us some beer which was San Mig Light and Red Horse (ngayon na lang ulit ako nakainom ng alak). It was nice watching all the bands performed. I think I liked three of the bands who performed that night. It was sad because Andie and the other listers weren't there but we still managed.

After their set, we decided to go home because it was already morning and we really have to go home. I really enjoyed that night. It was ann unforgettable one because... Haha :) I'm so happy because Miguel is such a nice person that he tries to make sure that everyone in that place was doing okay. He's one of the nicest people I met in the music industry. He's really a good guy. Wahaha :) Naku, Andie's going to read this. Lumalandi na naman ako. Nyahahah :D Anyways, I really had a good time today. Until the next gig again.

TWILIGHT, second time around

Today, when I arrived at school for our morning class, all I could ever talk about with my friends who have watched and read Twilight. I went on babbling about it with my friends. Anyhow, just to share with you, I managed to put some of the pictures from Twilight. I showed them to those who have watched the movie, especially the girls, and they were all so giggly about it. I guess that's how big the effect was to them made by the famous Edward Cullen, of course, played by Robert Pattinson. So, all day long, that was our topic. And for our friends who haven't watched the movie yet, they tried to keep some distance. Haha :)

My very good friend who really wants to watched it today decided to go for it. Since we don't have classes tomorrow, I agreed to accompany her since I thought maybe that if I watch it the second time around, I would appreciate it more. When we were having the film viewing for our NCM subject, me and my other friend kept on talking about Twilight and the other books. I managed to spoil her a little about the things that happened and she was already interested in reading all the books. She was SO addicted to Edward. She still has the Twilight hangover. Maybe I do too. Haha :) We had different topics throughout the conversation but we still end up going back to Twilight. Oh, by the way, we watched "The Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. W have a DVD of it at home but I had no interest in watching it. But, when we watched it today, I found out that it was really good and the movie was touching.

After our NCM class, me and my friend who can;t wait any longer to watch Twilight, made it out of the school. We take the usual route going home which is to ride the LRT. So, we were already in Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, we looked at the time and we bought ourselves a ticket to the 6:40 pm showing, Premiere, P 130.00. My friend treated me with the P 30.00. We didn't go inside the theater house yet, instead, we bought some food to eat which was Pizza Hut and C2. We waited a few minutes outside and when we finished our first pizza, we decided to go inside. So, the trailers were already showing and I tell you, there were lots of them. I was getting bored already because it was almost 7 pm and they haven't started with the movie yet.

And, finally, the movie started. If I may say so, I really appreciated it this time around. Still, my favorite scene in the movie was the Baseball game. I'm still in love with Jasper, Carlisle and James. Haha :) I also liked Robert Pattinson this time around, but still, he wasn't the Edward I imagined. I was all giggly too. Haha :) I'm still a loser with remembering all the events that happened in the book, they're still a blur to me. I think I'm influenced by all these girls who are so addicted to Rob Pattinson's character. What else? I still hated how they made Jacob Black look so "Indian". He doesn't even have a long hair in the book. WTF?! I still laugh whenever I see him in the movie. Its just so funny, though he's good looking when he has his normal look. The movie is so fast-paced. There were lots of missing parts but I understand since you can't fit all what's written in the book in a 121 minute film. Oh well, as I've said before, the movie is done already. I just hope that when they make "New Moon" it will be better.

Glorietta 4, Cinema 6

November 29, 2008 was the day. I had the chance to watch the most anticipated movie this year. It wasn't supposed to be released until this december but since the date for the showing of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was moved to summer next year, the producers of Twilight grabbed the opportunity to move the time schedule for the premiere of the movie. Twilight, after a few days of its premiere, became such a huge success.

I was supposed to go to the music video shoot of Miguel Escueta's new single "Blue Monday" also in Makati but, sadly, I didn't made it on time because my class ends at 2pm and there was an announcement from our class president about the OR/DR/CDR completion. I was kinda sad but I just said to myself that there is always a next time that I will see Miguel Escueta. Anyways, I tagged along with me my friend Cez. I told her about the music video shoot but unfortunately, as I've said, we didn't made it on time because there was a traffic at Ortigas area.

We ended up watching Twilight instead at Glorietta 4. Me and Cez had an adventure inside the mall because we ended up getting lost and asking every security guards for directions. I thought I knew the mall because I used to go there with my mom and other siblings. I guess it was hard without mom because she knows all the way in the mall. We ate first at McDonald's because we were hungry. We both ordered Cheeseburger Value Meal Go Big Time. That just shows how hungry we both are. I decided to meet up with Andie, the Moderator of Miguel's Escueta's Mailing List. She told us everything that happened during the music video shoot and also showed some of the pictures she took. It was nice seeing her again and talking with her. It was so much fum. My friend liked her and told me that she's wacky. haha :)

After we were done eating, Andie and us separated ways. Andie was going to spend her time window shopping (I hope she bought something). Me and Cez made our way to the theater. Damn! I wasn't surprised how many people were there lining up to buy their tickets to see Twilight. It doesn't matter what age you are as long as you're there to see the movie. Almost all of the cinemas in Glorietta 4 were Twilight. The others were Bolt and Quantum of Solace. So, I bought the tickets and all the lines were long. After buying the ticket, those in the 5:40 pm showing must wait in line. So, we decided to go to the ladies bathroom first and when we got out, we were surprised because the line was so long. I was like "Is this for real? WTF?!" haha :)

While waiting in the line, I was observing everyone who was in the lone to go see the movie. me and my friend were wondering if all of them got the chance to read the book, NOT. of course they haven't. also, it's already hard to find a copy of the Twilight book because Breaking Dawn was on display since it is the latest installment of the Twilight Saga. We talked and talked until the time came they let us in. I was really excited since I received some mixed reviews from the movie. Wow, there were really lots of people inside the movie house. Amazing! Then, trailers started showing. My friend couldn't keep her excitement anymore.

Finally, the movie began. We both were immersed in watching the movie as well as the others inside. Damn! Almost all of the girls screamed when Carlisle appeared. I was really shocked. And of course, every girl screamed when Edward finally made an appearance. *gawk* I was having such a good laugh during that time. It was much more entertaining to hear and see all the girls giggling for Edward played by Robert Pattinson. I don't really remember that much from what I've read in Twilight. It was all a blur to me since it was a long time ago since I've read the book. I really liked the actors who played Japser and James.

There were some funny moments in the movie. But the part that I really liked was the Baseball Game. I also liked this part in the book. It was unbelievable, you know, all of their strengths with throwing and batting the ball as well as how fast they catch the ball. I was really amazed with how Alice was pitching the ball. Her leg swing were really high. haha :) That was funny. Rosalie is so pretty. The only honest thing I can say about the movie is that I don't like Robert Pattinson. Not that he wasn't good in the movie. I actually liked it that he didn't have an accent and that his voice was so solemn and soft-spoken. When I found out that he was playing Edward I was like "WTF?!" Its just that he wasn't the Edward I imagined from the book. Oh well, the movie is done already so might as well accept it.

I don't know what to say about the movie. It has some good points as well but not at all great as I have expected. I'm so tough to please when it comes to watching movies. But all in all, I think it somehow did justice to the book. Even Stephenie Meyer made a cameo appearance. When the movie was done, the persons at the back didn't like it because for the sole reason that they didn't read the book. Oh well, lets just see what will happen to New Moon.

Breaking Dawn

after almost a year since i've read twilight, new moon and eclipse, i finally had the chance to read breaking dawn. my sister haven't bought herself a copy of the book but good thing my younger sister borrowed from her classmate so i had the chance to read the book and finish ahead of her.

they say that the book received a lot of negative reviews so i kinda hesitated if i still wanted to read the book. maybe that's the reason why my other sister didn't buy a copy of the book.

here are some of those negative reviews:
*Publisher's Weekly stated that the main problem was that "Essentially, everyone gets everything they want, even if their desires necessitate an about-face in characterization or the messy introduction of some back story. Nobody has to renounce anything or suffer more than temporarily--in other words, grandeur is out."

*Entertainment Weekly graded Breaking Dawn with a D, criticizing the birth scene and Bella's "unwavering passion for Edward" and having no other goals.

so here's what i have to say about the book. of course, it is all about bella's perspective. till now, i don't know how to react or what to comment about the book. i guess its quite interesting to know what will happen to bella and edward's love story. i won't give away too much information because some of those who may read this review haven't read breaking dawn yet.

i didn't like some of the chapter titles in the book because it was too long, not interesting at all. also, i didn't like how jacob is still attached to bella after knowing the reality that she and edward is already married and have a child. anyways, towards the end, nothing so bizarre happened when the whole volturi clan paid a visit to the cullen family and their invited witnesses.

what i liked in the book was that of course, bella and edward's love story and the fact that they had a child. also, bella having a gift after turning into a vampire. i kinda liked the idea that their daughter was wonderful just like how the other characters in the book fell in love with her. i hope i'm making sense. haha :) anyways, the book had some good points too. i just can't remember everything i read.

i guess, this is all for the twilight saga. i hope that stephenie meyer would pursue with "midnight sun" which is about edward's perspective.

well, the most awaited event for all the nursing students of CEU. the nurses' day celebration, a break from all the stress and sleepless nights. all nursing students didn't have classes but they still had to come to school to sign their attendance. during the morning activities, a thanksgiving mass was held at the librada avelino auditorium and the opening ceremonies were also held there. all the participants were the nursing student council, level officers and class officers.

after the opening ceremonies, they didn't want to let us out of the auditorium but we just had to go out because there were more important thing that we had to do. we forced our friend who was guarding the door to let us out. there were many junior students who were trapped inside but thankfully, our friend let us out and i gave her a kiss on the cheek. haha :) so, we ate our lunch since me and my classmates were starving. we chatted a while on the lanai with our other classmates while waiting for our attendance for our pharmacology class. afterwards, we went to the library to research on our assignment in english.

we have to research on 5 thesis and copy the research title, research problem, specific problems and the references. we had difficulty in looking for different topics because some were incomplete. finally, we settled and copied the informations we needed. it was so cold inside the library and i cannot write legibly anymore because my hand was freezing. after copying all the informations, we immediately went out of the library to get us out of our suffering. it was nice to be outside because the temperature was warmer. after that, i went home so that i could change my clothes.

i didn't have any difficulties in going home because there wasn't any traffic except at sta. lucia mall. when i arrived home, i changed from my clinical uniform to my civilian clothes. i didn't rush since there were still a lot of time and it was still early. when i was already prepared, i left our house to go back to school. i was really annoyed because of the traffic jam going to lrt santolan station and i had an headache. so, when i arrived at mendiola, i waited for my friends so that we could go inside the school. the first two people that i saw were karyl and phaning. we chatted for a while and took some pictures on my new phone.

we met up with our other friends near the police station at mendiola. when we were at the north gate, we went inside. i thought we couldn't go in because we were wearing sandals/slippers. when we were inside, we signed on the registration booth and watched the singing contest. we were at the back because all the seats in front were occupied. me and my friends were excited to see the band "merenggue". haha :) it has been a while since we saw them. phaning, my friend, have two brothers in the band.

we enjoyed the show that was going on. after the singing contest was the dance contest. the juniors had two representatives. we really enjoyed it especially when the seniors showcased their talents. we enjoyed it. but, what we enjoyed the most was the presentation of our friends who were included in the dance contest. we really cheered out loud for them and all of them were really good. next was the battle of the bands. the judges were two of merenggue's band member: daryl and stanley and the other i think was a clinical instructor. then, the rain started pouring. what we did was "pinayungan namin yung tatlong judges kasi wala silang payong" and "nakakaawa naman kong mababasa lang sila don" might as well shield them from the rain with our umbrella.

it was really tiring to do such but it was okay. they had to cut short the battle of the bands because the guest bands should be performing already. the first band was "sinosikat". honestly, i didn't care at all before when i see their music videos on mtv. but when i saw them perform live, i really enjoyed it. kat, the vocalist was really pretty and sexy. she is such a good performer. another thing, their bassist was really cute. haha :) i like him. their songs were good but as i have said. i didn't care much before but i heard their songs on the radio. the next band to perform was "sandwich". that made all the students, nursing or not, stand in the chairs. it was really enjoyable and all the people had fun watching ans singing along to them. they sang: selos, betamax, sugod, zaido and procrastinator. mong alcaraz wasn't there because he had to be with his other band "chicosci".

after sandwich, half of the audience dispersed. haha :) it was really fun and all had a great time. i think my energy during that tome was drained. then, "merenggue" was the next band to perform. two of the members were from CEU. me and my friends went to the front of the stage at least to make up for being at the back of the pack during the performance of sinosikat and sandwich. we were screaming so hard to show support. we were the few people who knows the band and the others might be wondering why we were screaming so loud. haha :) anyways, we enjoyed their performance too. as i've said, i think all of the energy of the audience was drained.

after the performance of merneggue, the battle of the bands resumed. there were 3 participants in the junior level. the next to perform included our good friend and they were really good. the last to perform were our classmates on english and political science. when all of the bands were done performing, they announced the winners of the singing and dance contest and battle of the bands. the freshmen grabbed the victory in the singing contest. we, juniors, grabbed the victory for the dance contest and battle of the bands. we didn't expect our friends to win in the dance contest but at the same time we wanted them to win. anyways, all the excitement had to end.

busy, busy, busy

well, it is the start of the second semester for school year 2008-2009. for the start of the first week, we had our RLE class. we had our orientation and lecture for OR. me and my classmates were wondering if we can survive all the sterile techniques that we had to do in the OR. i guess we'll just have to wait.

new semester, new classmates. i guess its okay because it means that i am extending my social networks of friends and not limited to those i know since i started college. i'm glad to meet all my new classmates and wish that i could get close to them. of course, i still have my so-called "inspiration" which all of my friends know of. haha :) everytime i see this person, i go crazy and scream and giggle like a little girl. also, there's a new person we met which made all the girls in our class focus on this person. this person is really good-looking, tall and so nice to us students.

we were given our schedule for the whole prelim period. we have a total of six hospital duty, including the enhancement duty which will take place on december 22 & 23. goodluck to all ceu level 3 bsn students. we can do it! so, we also have our community immersion and i am really looking forward to it. i guess i'll be busy next week and the weeks to follow. good night!

seeing the dentist and other topics

i went to the dentist today as recommended by our school dentist. i should have gone to see the dentist long ago but we're short in money. its not that we're the only family who is having financial crisis. anyways, just last week i told my mom that i would go and see our family dentist which is also our family friend for many years now. so, i did it today. i went there this afternoon. they have a small clinic which i remember that when i was way younger, we use to go there often to treat our teeth.

what the dentist did to me was light cure restoration or "pasta". she repaired the cavities that are almost damaged if not treated. i was seated in the chair for so long and my jaw was left hanging for quite some time. it was really hard for me not to swallow because every time that my mouth felt like that it is full of saliva, my gag reflex will be stimulated. so, i just endured the pain and put up a brave front. haha :) it was nice for me to have my teeth treated because it has been a while since i've went to see a dentist. it was actually refreshing. she also recommended that i have braces, just because. so, that was my trip to the dentist.

i miss blogging so much. i haven't been able to post a blog about the things that had happened to me since the start of our semestral break; and now, another semester is about to start. well, let me start when we had our sem break. at first i didn't know what to do at home and i was really bored. we still had to do our community photo album which is recommended for all nursing students in our school, and it was by class. those with the "creative side" were asked to take part on the making of our community photo album.

next is that i watched season 2 of ugly betty and season 4 of grey's anatomy as well as other seasons of various american shows that my sister downloaded. we also had our enrollment for the second semester which only took us half day (for the first time!). it was the easiest enrollment we had and made history in all of our stay in CEU college of nursing. what else did i do? i also watched "it started with a kiss". it was really good and i love the drama. i love joe cheng! haha :) it was really funny and there were as well some irritating scenes. but over all it was really good.

right now, i am busy with watching "they kiss again" which i know is already finished in abs-cbn. i have to finish it before another semester begins. i am really envious of ariel lin whenever she and joe cheng will share a sweet and passionate kiss. damn it! joe cheng is much better looking at "they kiss again". i am so loving this drama right now.

i wonder what's in store for me this coming second semester. i am excited to face pharmacology and medical-surgical nursing in which we would take up for our NCM 102. i better study hard and prepare for it as well. i better watch this new taiwanese drama showing in abs-cbn called "why why love". haha :) well, that's about it. i'm not in the mood to put so much details in my blog today. thanks!

M.E. at robinson's galleria

finally, after 10 years of waiting for the our phone and internet to be fixed, digitel finally took action of our complaint. damn! they were so slow of responding to our needs. anyways, its fixed now. i can finally have time to surf the internet and put up blogs on my site.

today, i went to see miguel escueta perform at robsinson's galleria. but before that, i'll share to you the details of what happened before i even arrived at robinson's galleria. okay, i'll start. i was watching ugly betty because i couldn't do anything at home but to watch all the american shows that my sisters downloaded. so in short, all i did was have a marathon extravaganza of all the shows. anyways, i'm not done watching yet. after finishing episode 15 of ugly betty, i decided to stop for the day. then, i took a bath and put on some clothes. i was waiting for this day to come. i can't take another boring day at home.

then, i rode the tricycle from our street to the gates of our subdivision. then, i rode the jeepney going to junction where i would ride a bus going to robinson's galleria. in the jeepney, i didn't really mind the other passengers because i was too excited and it was the first time for me going to robinson's galleria without anybody. there were 3 guys in the jeepney and they were wearing white uniforms and i'm guessing they're from san beda manila because i saw one of them with a beda bag. i like boys so what, i don't know why. hehe :)

i walked the streets of junction where i found a bus going to robinson's but it was a long time for me to be able to find a bus going to that direction. okay, so i finally got inside the bus and i seated myself where there were available spaces. i seated myself in the three person seat. i was getting really pissed at the old guy seated in front of me because the sun was so bright and it was almost blinding me. i don't know if he can't feel that but i can because i couldn't even look straight. so, i just adjusted the curtains on my part. then, there was this guy who sat next to me but i didn't mind him because he's not handsome. haha :)

before i even seated myself, i saw two boys (they're friends and not gay) who was kinda good looking. so, one of the guys took off first. then, his friend who was better looking sat next to me. i thought he was gonna took off first but he didn't. i was really shocked that he sat next to me. then, i realized that the space between us was getting smaller and smaller and he was brushing his arms onto my arms (what! that was major.) i couldn't even make the tiniest bit of sound because i was having difficulty of breathing. good thing i didn't suffocate. i was enjoying the moment. haha :) i was really hoping that he would ask my name or my number but he didn't. okay, so he was sending all those signs but nothing happened. damn! i was so disappointed. as i've said so, i just enjoyed the moment. he was really handsome, if you could have just seen him. i don't know why he didn't ask anything.

we finally arrived at my destination, robinson's galleria, but nothing happened. he looked at me before i got off the bus. i thought for a second that he wouldn't let me out because he had this huge bag with him and he was occupying all the space. and when i got off the bus. i was ranting to myself because i didn't do anything. but, i was able to breathe normally again. so, i went inside robinson's galleria but i didn't see anyone from the migsters except for jobelle. i knew it was her but i just made sure it was her before approaching her. so, we talked a little because we're not yet that close. then, keshia arrived and we went inside the activity area. we were seated right in front of the speakers. it was so loud. diane, diana and lucky then arrived.

at first they didn't went in but after some songs, they decided to go in with one of their friend. miguel looked at us, the listers. i'll tell you, he's really gotten so handsome. haha :) you might think that i'm addicted but yeah, i think i am but not in a crazy way. haha :) oh my gosh! andie, i know you'll read this. miguel escueta mentioned all of our names, the listers, and i was the first one he mentioned. i was so shocked. haha :) jeng and roy wasn't there because they went with their other band. it was a good show. i had fun though there was this insect that got into my pants but it didn't hurt me. thanks to keshia who helped removing the insect from my pants.

it was autograph time for miguel and his other fans besides us. andie, the mailing list moderator approached us. at first she talked to the ones she knew way back but when i was introduced to her, she remembered me because she is my friend on multiply and she often reads my blog with regards to M.E. we had few talks and she was really nice and pretty too (it's true andie!) i've said it so many times already. thanks for sharing that thing we talked about (you know what that is). we took a photo together.

that's andie on the picture. so, after all the other fans had finished, it was our moment to go up the stage and take some pictures with miguel and juni. i got another high five from miguel. haha :) thanks for that but the essence went away already because i washed my hands when i got home. it was really fun being with the other listers. i also had a picture with juni and it was really nice. they were so nice.

well, that was my day. meeting miguel and juni again as well as andie and the listers. thanks for the good time. i really had fun today. anyways, i still don't believe what the others told me that it would be their last gig to watch. i still have to find out the reason why. rock on!

meeting miguel escueta/grand return demo

i will start first with what happened when i met miguel escueta. it was a saturday, and as usual, i have classes even on weekends. i really wanted to go to robinson's metro east for the sake of seeing miguel escueta and its been a while since the last time i saw him. anyways, i had to hurry to get out of my school just to catch miguel at robinson's. i walked really fast which made me feel really tired. i was panting and grasping for breath.

finally, when i arrived at robinson's, miguel and his band was still there. i was really happy and it almost made me cry. i ran towards the escalator. i was really happy to see him again, i just can't believe what i had to do just to watch him. i bought the repackaged album I am ME: Amplified. i finally get to have a copy since i can't find it in some malls that i've been to. i found myself a seat in the fourth row. i took some pictures and videos since that was what i really wanted.

good thing that their bassist was late that's why i got to see more of miguel and the band. i felt really awkward during that time because i didn't have any company and had to sit alone. on the other side, i knew that those who were noisy were the other listers of the mailing list. then finally, their bassist arrived and started playing real music. they had to play acoustic songs while waiting for the bassist. i didn't get to start the show but it was worth the while. i was really overwhelmed.

after finishing all set of songs, ME had an autograph session and picture taking session with the other fans. as for me, i approached the other listers so that i could introduce myself and be known to them. i'm really happy that they are all very nice and i'm happy to have met all of them. afterwards, i also had my fair share of having my copy of the album autographed. i also took a picture with miguel and i also got to chat with him for a while. i can't explain my happiness during that time. when i was smiling for the camera, my mouth was shaking like crazy.

after the autograph session, i joined in with the group while we waited for miguel to finish his business backstage. i am so glad to have met new friends. we took a group picture with miguel on the stage. wow! what a day for me. i was really happy that i get to watch him again. after some time, their service arrived and had to leave. we, the listers also had to go our separate ways because we need to go home. i was with paw and her friend when we waited for a jeepney.

it was nice meeting all of them especially miguel. its been a while and i hope to see more of him and the listers.

grand return demo. yesterday, september 29, 2008, we had our grand return demo for the first semester, school year 2008-2009. i got the chance to study but i was still nervous and didn't think that i could still remember all the procedures i've studied. when i woke up, while eating my breakfast, i was watching the new season of the amazing grace. i wish someday that i could also got to the different places i want to visit. afterwards, i washed the dishes and proceeded with studying but i still can't get focused.

when i arrived at school, i still studied but just doesn't seem to get focused with what i'm studying. i was really nervous until the time we were outside the lah nal 2nd. while waiting, we picked our number so that we would know where we would perform the ret dem. i also saw the person that i really love seeing. maybe, he inspired me to not be nervous and to do good. i was so happy to see him.

then, it was the moment of truth. it was time for us to perform the grand ret dem. i proceeded to the cubicle # that i picked. when i was about to go up, i knew already who was going to be my clinical instructor. i almost cried because of shock that the clinical instructor assigned to the cubicle was our adviser. then, we picked the procedure we were about to perform. i picked the adult physical assessment and adding medication by intravenous piggyback. i chatted with my clinical instructor for a while, then we heard the second buzz signaling the start of the ret dem proper.

i first started with the physical assessment since i've done it before. i was really confident while performing the procedure but there were times that i forgot some steps. after finishing with the physical assessment, i proceeded with the intravenous piggyback. i warned my clinical instructor that i didn't study the procedure but she told me that i can do it. when i was done, i did the aftercare. i also signed the checklist where my grade was. i was really surprised with my grade especially with the intravenous piggyback.

average = 1.0

i was really happy about my grade since the clinical instructor was so nice. she knows me because she handled us during our finals hospital duty, adult physical assessment and since i'm the secretary of the class that i have to make the minutes of the homeroom meeting. she was like an angel that came down from heaven. when i was done, we did some chatting and waited for the time to finish.

over all, i had a wonderful day. san beda won the NCAA championship (haha :), what's the connection?!). they were really noisy outside of mendiola and they had to close mendiola for san beda. congratulations! that was my day!

walang kwentang post

after the passing of the community case study requirements, hindi muna ako masyado nakapag internet dahil ang drama ko ay busy busyhan. ayon, busy sa school kaya hindi makalabas ng bahay. nung sunday, pumunta kami sa robinson's galleria para maglibot at bumili ng mga unexpected na bagay. buti na lang nakauwi kami ng maaga at napanood ko pa yung final four games sa uaap.
i'm so happy na la salle at ateneo ang maglalaban sa finals. haha :) ano kaya ang mangyayari? good na lang sa both teams. then, this week, we had our hospital duty at perpetual succor, espana, manila. 6am-2pm yung shift namin. ang saya ko dahil nakita for 2 days yung taong inaasam-asam kong makita. alam na ng mga kagrupo ko sa RLE kung sino yun. haha :) napakasaya ko talaga at hindi naman obvious ang kasiyahan ko nung mga panahon na yun.
nakakapagod din pala ang nakaupo lang. pano naman kasi wala masyadong patient kaya nagkwentuhan lang kami. kung meron mang kami ginawa, yun ay ang walang kamatayang vital signs, interview, kumain at oral cnp. masaya naman yung duty kasi ang bait ng C.I. namin. on the second day, nag pictorial pa kami. haha :) grabe, napakainit na ng panahon. lalo pa't nakapink gown kami nung nag duty.
ayon, gawaan na naman ng cnp. pahirapan na naman sa pag-iisip at pasakitan ng kamay sa pagsusulat. ay, oo nga pala. nahihilig na ulit ako ngayon manood ng mga shows sa abs-cbn lalo na yung sa primetime bida. simula i love betty la fea hanggang 3 dads with 1 mommy. ang gwapo ni john lloyd sa i love betty la fea. haha :) mas matimbang na siya ngayon kesa kay dennis trillo. dun naman sa iisa pa lamang, wala lang, naiintriga ako. tapos yung kahit isang saglit, ewan ko, na amaze lang ako. syempre, yung last, yung koreanovela. ang gwapo kasi nung mga lalaki eh. haha :) whatever!
anyways, hindi ko na kaya dahil inaantok na ulit ako kahit napakahaba ng tulog ko kanina. pag uwi ko galing duty, nagpalit lang ako ng damit, tulog na ko. ang sarap matulog lalo na't 2 hours lang yung tulog mo the other day. sige, bye :)

activties for the day

well, today, i started my day by waking up late in the morning. eating 2 pieces of gardenia bread with cheese wiz as my palaman. i also ate, cadburry caramel chocolate. i also surfed the net for nothing unusual. the usual site where i go to are: friendster, multiply, justjared, blogger, live journal and crunchyroll. just checking if there's something new.
just today, i learned that it was the day for the 2008 samsung cheerdance competition. so, i watched it on studio 23. just before that, i watched the latter end of the garfield 2 movie. the cat was so cute :) then, the cheerdance started. i wasn't that bored at all but i didn't watch the NU pep squad perform because i was watching "apocalypto" on star movies. i think that all the teams are getting better and better each year.
damn! late na ko sa balita. pano ba naman kasi ang dami kong ginagawa. hindi na rin ako masyado nakakanood ng UAAP men's basketball. wala na din ako alam sa mga players this season. usually kasi, ang dami kong nalalaman tungkol sa kanila lalo na yung sa mga gwapo. haha :) ayon, obvoius naman na UP ulet mananalo kasi simula pa lang maganda na. kaso nga lang ang una kong napansin sa kanila is mukhang mga lalaki yung mga cheerleader na girls kasi ang ikli ng mga hair nila.
after the cheerdance, i continued on watching apocalypto. i remembered how much i love watching that movie. ang galing kasi eh. how one man battled all his enemies by himself. tapos ilang araw pa siyang tumakbo para lang maligtas yung buhay niya at nang kanyang pamilya. ayon, super na amaze talaga ko sa movie na yun. nanood din ako ng "borat" kaso nga lang nawalan ako ng gana kasi hindi ko naman nasimulan. 3rd movie i watched for the day is "the gravedancers". ayon, okay naman yung movie. natakot ako don sa ibang scenes, napasigaw pa nga ako eh. haha :)
for our dinner, we once again had the kare-kare leftover from our lucnh. ang dami pa kasing natira dun sa niluto ni mama kaya hindi na siya nagluto for dinner. okay lang naman mag-ulit ng ulam as long as masarap. ayon, puro gulay kinain ko. 4th movie that i watched was "camp rock" on disney channel. napanood ko na siya befor kasi yung kapatid ko atat panoorin kaya nagdownload siya sa internet. grabe, mahal ko na ang jonas brothers. haha :) maganda naman yung movie and also the soundtrack. watch out nga pala sa video ng "this is me" by julianne and miguel escueta. parang sila yung filipino version ni nikki gil sa high school musical. actually, the song can now be heard on local radio stations.
so, for this day, all i did was watch movies to satisy my viewing pleasure and for me to have something to do. nakakaboring kasi kapag wala kang ginagawa eh. until then, i'll return after a few days because it will once again be our community immersion on tuesday and wednesday. take care everyone! :)
